Wow. I have a Rx card that expires today, so I literally went yesterday afternoon to purchase $3200 in Disney cards for an upcoming final payment. I was able to stack yesterday ---- talk about cutting it close!!!Because I had my little one with me, and people could have easily seen as I was checking out (the cashier was turning people away because the sheer number to scanned scared her I think), the cashier offered to get the security guy to walk me to my car. Of course to be extra safe I didn't refuse that.
When I texted hubby the receipt, he replied to ask if my ID was checked when making the purchase with my Target RedCard debit card. Nope.
Subtotal = $3200
RxRewards - $160
RedCard Savings - $152
No Tax
Total $2888.00
Most I have ever spent at Target in one trip. My yearly REDcard savings total at the bottom just skyrocketed![]()
Just curious, Why would they have asked you for your id? You have to enter your pin number... that is your "id" for a debit card. I've never been asked for ID anywhere when entering a pin number.
