Target Clearance

Does anyone out there know if Target has a certain day that they reduce clearance? I remember hearing somwhere before - but don't quite remember!

it depends on what you are looking to buy. they don't do the whole store in one day.

I'm not sure about Electronics, but our school supplies went on clearance last week & everything is gone. When I was in there last week, they were setting up the Halloween decorations in that area.

* BTW, in the counties surrounding this particular Target, school started last Monday, so everyone had already done their school supply shopping..that has something to do with when those go on clearance.

Schools in our area started Aug. 9th. When I went to target over the weekend - everything was 30% off. They still had so much left. I'm sure they'll reduce it to 50% or 75% real soon. I'm not sure how they go about deciding when to reduce either. I still haven't figured that one out.
