Target by Animal Kingdom

Just heard that the Target by the Animal Kingdom will be closing the first week of February. I know a lot of us use this location so please adjust your plans for next year.

Oh man. I go there every trip because it never fails I forget something. In fact, because of the Target I don't even worry should I forget something. I didn't realize Target was closing any of its stores.

What? We always went there it was so convenient but never busy which I thought was weird. We were once in there the week before Xmas and it was a ghost town.

I wondered about that, but I didn't know what the actual address was. Unless, I have quoted the wrong location that the OP was talking about. Maybe I'm the problem. But I don't see any other mention of a Target in that area.

A google search indicates that Target is only closing one Central Florida store. It has to be the one on West Vine.

I totally agree with you. It's the only location mentioned.

And the Target that is closing has been open since 1992. The Target close to AKV has only been about 3-5 years. Whew.

YES!!! So sorry for their customers that the other one is closing but so glad this one is staying. We just discovered it this year. Whew!!

West Vine street is no where near AKL, it is closer to downtown Kissimmee. It is also not a super Target and there is a newer super Target near that location at 535 and 192.

I know what you mean. We survive on that Target and have for a few years now. I was hoping for mis-information. Thank God it was!
