Target Buying Zellers!

I'm very happy about this. We hate zellers. There is something about that store that has a yuck factor to it. I used to really enjoy shopping there but the past few years it's gotten grungy and yucky. We love going to target when we go south so we are happy about this.

Question....didn't lord and Taylor buy out the bay? The bay still has it's name...does anyone know? I thought it happened a couple of years ago.

I believe the company that owns L&T also bought the Bay...

I'm also not a fan of Zellers: they are rarely in stock on anything in their flyer, in my experience; there are random piles of boxes scattered all over the floor in any Zellers I go to, and the staff do not know the meaning of the words "customer service". I'm sad to see yet another Canadian retailer go...but the reality is Zellers was dead years ago and just didn't know it.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing! I have been wanting to convert my points to AirMiles for awhile, so I'll get it done sometime today!
