Target BF GC with purchase deals - any restrictions on the GCs?

Target has a number of "buy this and get a $XX gift card" deals on Black Friday. Does anyone know if those GCs will be restricted use (not valid until the next day or next week, etc.) or if you'd be able to buy something, get a gift card, then go back and find more stuff to buy with said new GC? (I assume restricted but can't find any confirmation anywhere with Googling...)

Last year I remember getting one that didn't work until the next day on Black Friday.

^right. Black Friday gift cards last year (and at least another year I can remember) were only good beginning the day after. Very likely to prevent the scenario you describe--as awesome as that would be!

That's what I seem to remember as well, but nothing specifically spells that out anywhere that I could find. I shall plan accordingly.
