Potentially silly question:

Can I buy a Starbucks gift card at Target, and if so, using my redcard, do I get 5% off?

And then, can I load that gc to my starbucks gold card account to get the points?

Yes, you can buy a Starbucks gift card at Target. You will get the 5% off from using your Red Card. It can be loaded on to your Starbucks gold card via the Starbucks website. You will therefore earn stars when purchasing things at Starbucks with your gold card.

You can purchase the Starbucks gift card in the store, or online. Either way, using your red card, you get the 5% off. You get the egift card very quickly too.

Do not buy them in the Target Starbucks Kiosk. They will not give you the 5% off. At least in my Starbucks/Target kiosk. But they will give you the 5% discount if you check out in the regular cash register.

I used to do the same thing, but today, I couldn't find any starbucks gift cards at target.com. (I used to purchase the email delivery ones through target.com.) Has anyone checked in store recently? Have they stopped carrying starbucks gift cards, or maybe online only?

I believe so, they disappeared sometime in early July online. Super disappointed. Glad to hear it works in store, hadn't tried that route.

I'm super disappointed too! Oh well,I'll email them a request to get them back in stock. Thank you for telling me when it disappeared, I was so confused today. If they still have physical gift cards in store (at the check lanes/electronics area) and you purchase them at target's cash register, it does work. However the last time I tried it was February so I don't know about these days. I have never tried reloading my Starbucks gift cards directly at Starbucks in Target.

I tried this as well, based on things I've read here. No discount. The same register will give me 5% off on my coffee though.
