Target- 75% off toys

This is the clearanced game I bought yesterday that was missing from the box. I was upset, since I knew I'd never find another at 6.22, but found the 1st grade game instead! Then I went to Walmart. There was tons of stuff in the clearance aisle that was not on sale. I did find a dream sketcher (Cinderella) for 15, but it was missing stuff from the box, so I left it at customer service. I did find the Buzz and Incredibles cartridges for the Mickey dream sketcher I bought at Target. I also got a bunch of Leappad books at 3/each, and a multimedia pixter for 25. I am kicking myself, because I rushed to get the my own learning leap cartridges/books on ebay (spent 20. for 4) for the clearanced learning leap I found at Target for 9., and found them at 3. each at Walmart! I could've saved 8. Oh well. You win some.....you lose some....
Did I do well pricewise on the other stuff? DD3 has so much already- Leapster, Leappad, Fisher Price Powerbook (not yet given yet), Storybook Reader, and the Videonow. I try to get her educational toys that will hold her interest, since I work FT from home.

I got my girls 2 of the Mickey mouse Dream Sketchers for $14.99 each and the princess cartridges for $7.99

Wish I had gotten a dream sketcher. Saw someone at one Target I visited with one in her cart (must've just missed it! :( ). I did see alot of cartridges. Was back at one Target today with my kids for something and we ended up getting a jacket for DS for $11 and a couple sets of Disney cuties flannel sheets for $9.98. Toy aisle almost bare.

My Target didn't have much but I did get: (guessing at exact amounts)

Angelina's Castle playset was $20something & got it for $8
Angelina Uno $1.49
Barbie & Magical Pegasus Dress was $19.99 got it for $4.99
Batman dress up set not sure what it was but got it for $3.49
Cotton Candy machine was $25 & got it for $5.99

Think that's it! They also had some weird stuff that I didn't understand what it was like magnetix but with characters on them (spiderman, hulk, etc) only 5 pieces to a set orig $4.95 on sale for $1.50 or so. Didn't get them, but I was curious about it.

Ta ta!!

I saw this thread a little too late.

Still I got a few things for upcoming birthdays. Not much girl stuff.

Neat spiderman interactive tv game. (2)
Ninja turtle remote control vehical.
Spiderman play set.
plug and play soccer and baseball.

All of this for around $45. Woo Hoo!

Does anyone here know if certain days are the best days to try??

went by my Target today, what was 3 isles of 30% off toys........turned into 1/2 of one isle of 75% off toys. An employee said mine went 75% off yesterday..........and I missed it!! :(
I remember Target had a big clearance on their toys last year around summer time too.........am I remembering that right?? Does anyone else remember their Target having a toy clearance any other time besides after Christmas? This time I'll be ready for that one!

My Target had a toy clearance last year at the end of July. I wrote it on my calendar! :teeth:

my Target still has loads of stuff 75% off. Got a huge transformer - Starscream which is usually around $45 for 11.24. Pirate Bones game $5, My little Pony set with DVD $2.50, Disney Dream Sketcher was 14.98, did not get it. The truck that sets up the dominoes was down from $20 to $5,lots of those trolls for girls,I alos got a 14 in one game table that was $125 for 30. It really is very sturdy -0 best one I have seen. Picked up one for bil and sil and one for us. VERY heavy, good foosball, basketball, "push hockey" shuffleboard, bowling, chess, checker, cards ping pong, more. AWESOME deal - Salem Ma. store they are $30, Saugus Ma. store they were $59.99, go figure! Worth it even if it is a drive - they still had quite a few left.

Stopped by two Targets yesterday - not too much left, but I was able to pick up:

Angelina Ballerina Uno - $1.48
My Generation Futon - $3.74
Clik-Its purse - $3.68
S'mores Maker - $3.73
Individual packs of speciality coffee $0.25
and several things from the Dollar Spot for DD's birthday sleepover party.

Man, these sales are driving me crazy.....I guess in a good way.(as DH would say).

I am returning the Angelina Ballerina castle - too many broken pieces and more pieces are breaking just for looking at them - Angelina's tail came off and that was the end of it. Sorry but even for $7.50 not worth it.

I am also returning a Barbie & Me dress I bought DD. I bought it before Christmas, intending to hold it for her birthday in Feb. Walmart had them marked down to $5.00, so if I return the 1 dress for $15+, and have the 2 dresses I'm saving $5 and DD is getting more.

Walmart had an odd assortment of clearance items. Somethings to watch for....some items seemed overpriced even though they were marked clearance, while others were really clearanced prices. I hope to get back and keep up on the clearances.
Does anyone know Walmarts rhyme or reason to clearance schedule?

Thanks for posting the Target markdown schedule.

I tried Walmart last night. My DD has 3 brithday parties to go to next weekend. I didn't find anything on clearance for the birthdays but did get a Sponge Bob cartridge for a black/white Pixtar I had purchased for my DS last year at Target for $11. They also had to black/white Pixtar's for $21. I only paid $15 at Target and it was great for the plane trip to Disney. He's got a leapster to use at home but I didn't really want to take that to Disney. If I had seen the multi media one (they did have a game for it on clearance) for $25 I would have probably purchased that. They had some really cool looking Batman digital cameras but they were still $40. They had at least 20 so I'm hoping they'll get marked down some more. I also purchased a Scrabble Jr game for $5.

Someone mentioned the Cinderella dress from Wal-Mart for $5.. did you get a chance to look at it yet? Does it look like it might actually be comfortable to wear? Our WM had them for $10 in the clearance section but I might check back to see if they're marked down any lower..
I just didn't know if they might be rough and scratchy :confused3 I'm not expecting anything high in quality, but I don't want it to fall apart or irritate dd all morning, you know?

edited to add-- oops.. I realized that the pp was talking about a Barbie & Me dress, not the Cinderella one.
Does anyone else know about the Cinderella one? It comes in a box with a wand, crown, shoes.

Sorry if this has already been discussed ~~

Does anyone know if the Target bath sets from Christmas are 75% yet? There were some cute sets (hello kitty ect) that weren't coming up and they were definitly from Christmas!

:confused3

mafibisha--when I was at my Target a few days ago, there were lots of holiday cosmetics still only 30% off---they had holiday packaging and everything. I talked to a manager to try to get them to discount it more but they said they haven't discounted all their holiday merchandise yet. :confused3 So same thing here........

Today our target had the boxed sets marked down to 50% finally.

Then I went to Walmart. a multimedia pixter for 25./QUOTE]

I went to another Walmart on my way home from work last night and the multimedia pixter was $64 :scared1:

I saw the Batman digital camera there (it was $40 at the walmart I went to Sunday) and it was $48.

I finally made it to Target at lunch yesterday and was sure I'd find nothing. It was very picked over but I found a Princess Disney Dream Sketcher in the "regular" isle. It wasn't marked clearance but did scan $14.99. Then I found a Mickey one in the clearance isle with coolers that was marked $14.99. I didn't find any extra cartridges though. I did see them at Walmart but they were all full price.

I saw those bath sets at 50% off yesterday too. They are $2.22. They only had Lil Bratz, Hot Wheels and Dora left. When I was there I heard someone was trying to see if they had a Star Wars one. The word on the discount must be out.

Our Walmart has all their big game tables on clearance. Yesterday I got the full size poker table for $40. It has poker, blackjack and a regular table top for a dining table on it. It is very cool. They had the 3-in-1 pool tables for $40 and the 3-in-1 foosballl tables for $73. I haven't been to Target yet. I wanted to make it to Toys R Us because ours is closing, but they are still only at 20% off.
