Did you guys actually scan the items or just look at the signs?
My store is 75% off. I was the only one there for a while. Picked up lots of gift bags, tissue and bows. Found a hidden deal...the 10 gallon zip loc bags they rang up 1.25. They have a snowflake on the package.
Just back and it was 75% off here! The did have some signs up for 50% but as I was leaving they had been changed to 75%. So like the previous poster said try scanning the stuff. Maybe they just didn't get to change the signs yet.
75% here too and lots left! I picked up the 4 pack of Scotch tape for $.74/pack, Holiday Barbie in a red ballerina outfit for $1.24, Method Dishwashing liquid in holiday scents were $.62, gift bags, wrapping paper, Holiday M&M's big bag for $.60. I was so shocked that my Target had so much left.
Just back and 75 here too. SPent 29.21 and got tons of stuff. The best was the rubbermaid ornament box for 3.84. Got some things for my girls that will be perfect for V day. Red patent leather jewelry boxes and pink and red striped socks. Got lots of gold matte napkins that are good all year round and some ceral bowels at 49 cents. Also blue wrapping paper that I use for birthdays, and this cappucino set I have been watching, got it for 1.50 but the cashier just made up the price on that.
Then I hit Kmart and got lots of gladware bags and containers all ringing up 94 cents. The containers are the good ones that have the screw on top and come in pkg of 2.
It was 75% off in NJ starting today. They had tons left. They had the Armor All Gift pack in the car section for $6.74 which I thought was a good deal. I also found the Ziploc large bags (only 1). The Planter Peanuts Gift set were not ringing up for 75% but the man at the register took 75% off which brought them to $1.48. I will not buy any wrapping paper until it goes 90% off like last year.
I was at the West Milwaukee store on 43 St. Near Miller park and I scanned the items just to be sure. They were still coming up 50% off. I don't know if it would change mid-day.
Milltown, NJ had a TON of stuff (8 rows left) but very little wrapping paper or lights (I did get the last four sets of icicle lights for 1.24 each though!).
I got an inflatable snowglobe for $20 (I've always wanted one); a fiberoptic tree for $5, tons of garland, decorations.
The cool part was I got a ton of year-round stuff....they had striped 21"x34" rugs (not necessarily holiday looking) for $1 and when I went to the home dept. they had them in solid green with the Christmas tags--8 rugs for $8!
Also in housewares--the packages of 12 washcloths rang up at .99! Not the best quality but great for the kids and for cleaning up.
In cleaning supplies all the Method pear and cranberry items are 75% off (NOT MARKED); and all the holiday makeup (including 2-packs of Great Lash mascara) were 75% off.
And my favorite--children's jewlery boxed sets with necklaces and earrings for $2! I got 6 of them--must be stopped!!!!
Queensbury, NY 75%, but Latham and Clifton Park still at 50%. Got the last 6 Bounty rolls after I told another customer about them and let them take their fill (6 rolls). They were taking pallets out of the back and restocking the Xmas section-why didn't they do that before Xmas??
In cosmetics, the salon hair gift sets in silver boxes are 75%. I got a Matrix one and a KMS one at $3.74 each.
I'm in Tuscaloosa, AL and our store is 75% off! I got 11 pairs of Christmas socks for 74 cents each. I also got a Tinkerbell tree for $6.24, monogrammed hankies for $1.25, and some slippers. I'm waiting until it hits 90% off to get wrapping paper. Employees were actually putting out more gift wrap and ornaments this morning! DH said the store was like a treasure hunt....
