taping of last years christmas parade

when did they tape last years christmas parade at mK?

The first weekend in December. That's when it is usually done. Takes all day on Sat and Sun. Not one run of the parade.

that is what I thought. I will be there the first weekend of december. should I avoid mk? how do they do it meaning do they block off sections at a time to tape it or will i have complete access to everything at the park.

We just had this discussion last night during chat. I want to go, but was told it was very crowded and Main Street is a real challenge to manuver. The taping is done mostly on Main Street. The rest of the park is open, if you can get past Main Street. I would love to be an extra, but I don't know if dd (4 years old) is ready to sit for hours and wait while it's being done.

They also tape on Friday on that first weekend in Dec. Crowds are heavy on Main St. but the rest of the park is fine.
