I love Disney World, but don't drink the tap water there.

Can you happily drink the tap water in Anaheim, or should I plan to go bottled all the way while there?

My personal opinion is that the water from the fountains isn't very tasty, but it is drinkable. I usually buy a bottle and refill from the fountains, though. when they sold Arrowhead water in the parks, the difference in taste between that and what comes out of the fountains was more noticible than now that they're selling Dasani. With the Dasani, I don't notice such a difference in the taste. You might want to try to find one of those Brita bottles. I am for my WDW trip.

IMHO Anaheim water is nasty. I don't in general buy bottled water, but I do down there. I thought the nasty water was Eisner's plot to make us buy the bottled stuff. :)

Then again, those visiting the SF area where I live may think the same thing - but I like it.

Anaheims water is "chunky." We have to change out our water heater every 5 or 6 years becuase of the minerals that build up inside. We also have to have our water filtration systems filters changed every 3 months instead of the usual 6 months to a year. I would bet that Anaheim has some of the nastiest water in SoCal.

Bon Appetit!

The DL water doesn't have the sulfur taste of WDW. To most the WDW water is terrible. We always have Britas in WDW, but don't have as urgent of need to in DL. The water doesn't taste that bad, in comparison to central IL.

Thanks for the info. We'll plan on buying a case or two of bottled when we arrive!
