I was in DL in June and I was so busy chasing after my 1 1/2 yo I don't know if I saw correctly but are they building a "Tangled" ride? If so does anyone know when this will be open? Sorry if this has already been posted but I couldn't find it anywhere. TIA :yay:

I've never heard that. They have a Tangled meet and greet but that's it

No not a ride, but a character meet and greet. You would think it was a ride because the line was so long, though! :lmao:

HaHa thanks guys I just saw a building with a ton of people standing around and all this blonde hair on the building. Thanks for the info.:rotfl:

Jeez, you got me all excited for a minute there!

I - I mean, my kids, would LOVE a Tangled ride! :)

The meet & greet would be great if they had FPs . . . .

We were there in May and DH thought it was a new ride too because it was always a posted 2 hr wait. He was thankful that though DD3 LOVES 'Punzel I had no intention of spending 120 minutes of my DLR time in that line.

When waiting for the meet and greet last October it sounded like passersby thought there was a ride there, too! Though with the wait time they still bypassed.

That is smart. We made the mistake of waiting--hoping the wait time was an over estimation. Unfortunately it was a under estimation--and we waited 2+ hours in the blazing hot sun to spend 15 seconds with Rapunzel. And to top it off, my camera wouldn't open, so I didn't get any pictures, and Flynn had "just" left (most of the reason we were waiting was that my daughter wanted to meet Flynn). Not a pixie dust memory at all!

They are going to extend fantasyland into that Carnation Plaza place with a rupunzel/belle inspired courtyard and have May pole dancing and character meet and greets in there. That will be nice.

Oh, I'm sorry! :( I thought she and Flynn were both just delightful and so nice! In the movies, Rapunzel is far from my favorite, but I loved the Disneyland character. Though if I recall correctly, we met them before the movie even came out...the line was still fairly long, but they might have spent more time with each guest back then.
