Tangled is on the VERY top of my to-do list. They're at MK, right? Is it true the only time they're going to be doing meet and greets is at the very opening of the park?

Also, has anybody seen any Tangled Penny Machines?

Tangled meet and greet is at MK.

They ordinarily meet between 9:30-5:30pm.

Since the lines get long, it has been recommended to get there early. Grab a times guide as you enter the park and it will tell you the specific times they are appearing that day.

isn't there a type of "mini-show" in Germany at Epcot? like, the hair being let down from a tower?

There is a scaled down "mini" tower in Germany as part of the Flower & Garden Festival. It plays music and the hair lights up when it is dark outside.

No characters are featured at this location.

the line for tangled is super long. I recommend getting there at rope drop and having someone go right to the tangled queue. We walked up at 8:45 [MK opened at 8am] and the line was 2 hours long.

If you go during slower time it won't be as much of an issue but I would still go at opening to be safe.

The line gets long, but the main problem is that it grows by the second.

It is true that there are several shows scheduled throughout the day, but it;s not like you can go and get in line for, let's say 1PM show at 12PM. The line starts at park opening and CMs go thorugh the line 'cutting' it where the capacity of each show has been reached.

So, you might see just one line, but in the middle there'll be several cuts for different shows, so if you are late, you might still be able to catch the show, but at the expense of being in line A LOT of time.

The show is totally worth the extra planning.

One thing that they allow you to do is have only one person in line for a larger group, so they'll ask that person how many kids and adults are in your party.

That way you can take turns at the line, while the rest of the party can go around and do some attractions.

I have not seen any pressed pennies machines featuring Rapunzel. There are lots of collectors on the Dis that may know better than me, but I suggest a new thread, or changing the title to this one, to catch their attention.

this m&g was at the top of our list too... until we refused to wait in a line up for over 2 hours for it. I went over numerous times, and even at rope drop, which was 8am, they didn't start until 9:30am, and during that first hour and a half, the park is empty, so instead we decided to go on about 10 rides in that time.

They need to figure something else out that gives people more of a chance to meet with them. On a rainy day, Rapunzel and Flynn were over where Ariel and Eric typically meet. that line moved MUCH faster.

.I'm somewhat confused about the times they actually appear as opposed to the times you could actually MEET them. So there is a little show where they sing and such for the kids and then they can get in line to take pictures with them, but they do it in little groups? So basically if you go there at rope drop, you're just getting in line for it and waiting until the M&G actually starts? Does anybody know a good time to get in line for it?

We actually did this on Wednesday and again on Saturday, so we're seasoned pros. :p I'll tell you both of our experiences in a nutshell.

First Experience: April 6th.

We got to the MK at opening (8am) rode Buzz two times and went straight to Tangled, arriving at 8:30. We were the fourth family for the 10:15 show. My mom waited (she offered/insisted) and I rode some stuff in Frontierland. The rest of your party must return about 20 minutes before your show, the CM emphasized that a LOT. I was the only "kid" above the age of 10 in there (I'm 17), but it was amazing. The kids danced and coloured and the characters were so interactive, even with me! I started talking to Flynn about his satchel and he showed me what was inside, after a heavy screening process also involving Blondie. :p (Make sure to ask, it's very cool!)

Second Experience: Yesterday. :p

We were at Epcot in the AM and I wanted one more pic with Rapunzel and Flynn before we went home, so we headed over. We arrived at about 1:30 and were about 8 families back for the 3:15 show. Rapunzel had "the same friend" and Flynn had "made a new friend", but Rapunzel was very good in helping Flynn remember my previous visit. ;)

Overall, it's worth it, but GET THERE EARLY. :) And bring an umbrella for shade.

So if you don't get there at rope drop and Tangled starts at about 10 am, you're still gonna have to end up waiting two hours regardless if you get there at rope drop or not, due to the certain amount of people allowed in a show?! Say you DO get there are rope drop, the show doesn't start 'til 10 am, you're basically rushing there to be in line? I really want to do it, but you think you could give me some more tips? Hah, :thumbsup2 Thanks!

The first show is at 9:15, we missed it by about 4 families. So if you want to make the first show, I'd try to make it there at opening. You'll still wait an hour and 15 minutes though.

They take about 75 people in a show: if there are a lot of big families, you're out of luck. They base it on the number of kids there (for colouring purposes), at least that's what we heard. So it depends if you want to make the first show and forfeit some riding time, or ride a couple rides and expect a longer wait for Tangled. :)

Tips? Ask lots of questions of them, they stay in character so well. I had a t-shirt with them on it and they were on one of the iron-on patches on my backpack: they loved that. For those of you with little guys, try to get your kids at the end of the table closest to the ramp if they love Flynn, or the opposite end if they love Rapunzel. ;)

Thanks so much.

If we make it there by rope drop, have a family member wait in line, then the rest go ride some rides, that'll still make the 9:15, right? I believe you only missed the first show because you rode some rides first... ;). So they base the number of people in a family on how many kids they have? Were you counted as a child? I'm not taking any kids under 13 with me (and I doubt they'd want to color!), but nevertheless, they absolutely loved the movie! ;). My kids are just there to take pictures with them/watch the show.

Yep, you'll be good. :) My mom and I wanted to do some rides together before we split up for Tangled, plus the CM the day before said 8:30 would be fine (we now know not to always completely trust their judgement. ;) ) I did Haunted Mansion, Splash, and BTMRR before coming back. They didn't count me as a child because I wasn't colouring. They'll love the meet and greet: make sure to tell them to ask Flynn what he carries in his satchel. :)

Is it the best time to go get in line as early as possible, like at rope drop? Is it okay to go later in the day? I really think it's the best time to go at rope drop, though. The others have said the line grows by the second ;)

Where exactly is the meet and greet and line? Also, is this a permanent show? I'm wondering if they'll still be doing this in October.

The day I want to do this MK opens at 9am.... It has EMH hours till 2am so I do not anticipate them changing the opening time, and I hope they dont! As a single mom I wont have anyone to "wait" for us in line.... so we will *not run but walk as fast as possible* to the Tangled M&G as soon as the CM's open the ropes!!! Hope we make it into the first group *crosses fingers*

Because of rain last Tuesday, Flynn and Rapunzel were meeting in Adventureland. We were walking by where Ariel and Eric usually meet, and imagine our surprise when we saw Rapunzel around the corner!

My dd loves Tangled she has been watching it everyday since it came out on dvd, so it is a must do for us. Thanks for asking this question it will help me be prepared when we go.

How bad is the line after morning EMH? We are staying offsite and MK has 7am EMH all week. If we are there at 8am, will it already be bad?

We were at the little grotto at 9:10am on a day when the park opened at 9 and the wait time was ALREADY 2 hours! If I were to do this again, I would get a breakfast reservation or a BBB appointment as early in the morning as possible on a day when the park opens at 9 so you are already in the park at rope drop and get in line as soon as they allow you to do so.
