I am thinking about having lunch here when we are at Epcot. Any reviews?

TIA

It is very good and the portions are large enough to share. We have been here 3 times and order the same thing, meatball platter with saffron rice, rotisserie chicken with saffron rice and olive salad....YUMMY!

We ate there last Monday (June 4) for - I guess it was lunch, but it was about 4:00 in the afternoon. My DH and DS14 had the meatballs and saffron rice, and I had the lamb wrap, which is basically a gyro on that delicious flatbread. It came with a small serving of lentil salad (lentils with some chopped onion and I think tomato with a olive oil-vinegar type dressing) and a small serving of couscous with golden raisins. My dish was the best on the table. Youngest DS5 had the kid's cheese pizza, which was on a foccacia-type bread - a little more substance to it than the usual thin crust. I would definitely go there again. It was all delicious. Kellie

I had the same meal and it was absolutely delicious, especially the couscous (and I'm not a couscous type of gal).

It is really good there and the platters are very big.
We enjoyed it last summer and are planning to go back this time around.
And there is something for everyone to try, even if you are not daring when it comes to trying new kinds of foods.

Chicken shwarma (sp?) sandwich there is very good. It's also nice because it's usually not too crowded.

We went there for the first time a couple weeks ago (only b/c it was pouring and that was the closest place!). It was DELICIOUS!!!!! Definately IMO the best coutner service restaurant in the World. Its a little more $$ than other CS places but far superior quality. DH and I both ordered the lamb/chicken combo platters for $13.95/each. It was a ton of food and we could have easily shared (that being said, we both cleaned our plates and were SO full for the rest of the night!). I am definately eating there again when I go to Epcot.

Tangierine is our favorite CS in the World. We love the lamb wraps. My daughter has also had the meatball platter and enjoyed it. We always look forward to this meal!

Very, very good. We just had to eat there because otherwise we'd miss our mandatory weekly gyro-based meal  It's yummy and a lot of food, but no different than other greek/mediterranean/etc. places where you live.

I am in the minority but I thought it was disgusting. Just goes to show you peoples tastes are different because my wife liked it.

It's funny you say that because I eat Lebanese a couple of times a week and look forward to eating "in Morocco" because of it..:cool1:

Tangierine Cafe is my fav CS in all of WDW. Everything is so fresh and delicious! Try the Sharmwa Platter. The people are really nice too!

It is good and they give you so much that you can easily make 2 meals out of it.

But I prefer Restaurant Marrakesh. :)

It is really good and definitely something different for most people. I highly recommend it.

Would you say that the vegetarian platter portion size is huge for one person? Is the Mediterranean wrap with tabouleh a better choice for someone going by themselves?

mmm.mmmm...mmm yummy Love this place. We eat there everytime we are in Disney sometimes three or four times...

I think the vegetarian platter is a good size for one person. It seems to have a little less food (that's a good thing if you don't want to/can't share). I'm not a vegetarian, yet when I go to Tangerine Cafe I often order the vegetarian platter when I'm solo because I love it.

So Looking forward to eating here in January! (never been, glad it gets good reviews)
