Tangierine Cafe substitutions?

I'm not a huge fan of baklava so I was wondering if the Tangierine cafe allows a substitution like a side of olives or more hummus in lieu of dessert? Or, with the CS changes going into effect, will I be able to get a different dessert from the display case?

The DDP brochure (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/me...alog/WaltDisneyWorld/en_us/PDF/2015Dining.pdf) states you can switch dessert for a snack. But at Tangerine Cafe the only thing marked as snacks are drinks (http://allears.net/dining/menu/tangierine-cafe/lunch-dinner) and at the coffee/dessert bar it only lists baklava (http://allears.net/dining/menu/morocco-coffee-and-pastries/all-day) so I would guess no you can't swap anything out for dessert, except maybe an additional drink.

Bummer. I guess I can always ask when we go. What do they do for people who can't have nuts? (Which I can, I'm just curious.)

They gave my daughter a fruit cup instead of Baklava when she went last year.

They will give you something but you are asking for basically an "appetizer" instead of a desert and that's probably not going to happen.
