I gotta say this is my new favorite CS place! I had the vegetarian platter for lunch, which consisted of marinated olives, bread, hummus, couscous, lentil salad & another leafy greean salad with tomatoes - not sure what it was called but it's in the pic. The menu also said tabouleh - what is that - and is it on my plate? Maybe that's what I thought was the couscous. Everything was very tasty - I ate every bite! The atmosphere was great for a CS - I had a very private meal in the little nook in the back, to the left of the pastry counter that leads outside. There are only 3 small tables back there, and I had the little room to myself. I could hear the Moroccan music & see the shopes out the back of the restaraunt. I almost forgot I was in Epcot - it felt like I was on the streets of a market in Morocco!

Thanks for posting the nice picture of the Vegetarian Platter! I've enjoyed it several times, but never thought to get out my camera and take a picture of it, it is a lot of yummy food, isn't it?

Hope you had a great solo trip! :goodvibes

The Tabbouleh is what you called the "leafy green salad with tomatoes". It should have been made with parsley and included some form of Bulgar wheat if it was made correctly. ;)

Thank you! Yes it was parsley. I knew it wasn't lettuce, but only knew to describe it as "leafy green!" :goodvibes I didn't notice any wheat product in it, but it was probably there & I just didn't notice. I was happily surprised that each food item had it's own unique taste, it wasn't like eating the same food in different form like some CS meals.

Thanks for the review. It's one of the places we want to try on our trip in October.

Evidently others are finding out what a great place this is! Last week I stopped by for lunch (it was after 1:00) and there was a line and the tables were full! It really is a great spot for lunch. Something different from the usual park fare.

I got there right when they opened & it was empty, it was so nice. I think it was around 11:30am.

This is also our favorite CS...and yes, the Tabbouleh has bulgar in it....if you look closely you can see it in the picture.:)

This was our favorite CS in all of WDW. The lamb platter was close in quality to the middle eastern places here at home (Brooklyn, NY).

We had lunch at the Tangeriene Cafe last month when we were at WDW and loved it. We had the vegetarian platter and the lamb/chicken platter. Both of them were great. It's a grat value for a CS service meal and the Moroccan pavilion is a fun place to visit and shop. Lots of atmosphere We'll be back next time!
