Tampe EA Report

We just returned from our Spring Break, spent the first night at the TPA Airport Marriott and got to the EA at 8:00 AM. Every EA spot was full. They had three rows of about 80 cars total in EA! I was shocked. The first row was the typical Mitsubishi Gallants and Pontiac Grand AMs. The last two rows were full of full-size Lesabres, Camry's, about 5 Minivans, 1 Full Size van. My ten-year old son's job is to pick the car. He first picked a Chevy Tracker (mainly because it was red) but when we opened it up, there was no way our luggage would fit, so he choose a Mitsubishi AWD type car (Outlander, I think) It was about the size of a Blazer but he thought it was cool. I would have selected a Caravan myself, but that is his job. My daughters job is to push the elevator buttons, but that is another story.....

I was very suprised to see so many cars there and wondered if the MCO EA is stocked at 8:00 AM as well?

How was the Tampa Marriott?

We loved the Tampa Marriott too. We arrived around 9:30 at night and that is LATE for my kids. We were in the room with our luggage in about 15 minutes and did not have to trek off to find our hotel. Very convenient, we checked in then went to TGI Fridays near the lobby for a late dinner. Our rate was $169 - AAA rate and I had $100 in Marriott gift cheques through a rewards program, so it came to $69 and we saved a day on the car rental so it was economical for us.

The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful. No problems at all.

I'll keep the Tampa Marriot in mind if we ever need to fly into Tampa.
