Has anyone been to this RV show at the Florida State Fairgrounds yet?? How was it?

Went this morning, very small show, saw everything within about 2-2.5 hours and left.

Yeah, the shows aren't what they usta be since the economy bottom'd out.
And thats a shame,, we really enjoy'd the big shows.
Now the good news,,I still gotta job,,as minuet as it may seem. :woohoo:

This is not the BIG supershow.

The Florida RV Supershow is held at the state fairgrounds in January. The state fairgrounds (for those of you who visit Florida in January) is about 1 mile south of the I-4/I-75 connector on US Hwy 301.

The show dates for 2011 are January 12-16.

We went last year to this show and it was really small - nothing like the one in January.

If your near the Tampa area for the dates of the super RV show at the fairgrounds in January, I would definatley recommend to go. All the ones in the summer and fall are not worth going to in my opinion. They are very small and not worth the money. The supershow in January has a lot of vendors along with a lot more dealers and brands. We look forward to it every year and I always leave wanting a new unit with the new oprtions we don't have :(

We went Saturday and spent about 2.5 hours there. While we were aware this would be no where close to the size of the January show we went anyway cause we like looking and dreaming. Heard from more than 1 salesman that the prices at this show will be better than in January but we all know you can't believe everything they tell you. Saw discounts of $2500 to $9500 off list on Travel trailers with MSRP's of $36000 or less.

Thanks for the responses! Went Sunday - small - but better than last year! My girlfriend found a 2010 Fifth Wheel 2-Bedroom 2-Bath from Dusty's RV in Bartow for 24,995.00! This Fifth Wheel was amazing It even came with a pull out travel aluminum storage unit connected underneath. Very good quality - trying to push out the 2010. What I got out of it was a 2-night 3 day free weekend @ Rally Park Lazydays......... Oh Well! Thanks!
