Tampa Bay Bucs training camp

Hello,
I'm trying to find some details on the Tampa Bay football
training camp that is held at Disney this Summer. Does anyone have any information on when and where it's held and what it cost?

Training is held at Disney's Wide World of Sports. I think it is from late July - early August. We will be there Aug. 3-12 and I know training camp is going on during our trip. The admission is free to watch the Bucs practice, but there is a charge to visit other areas of the complex.

I wish I could remember which website I got all this info from!

My dad and bro are huge bucs fans and we have gone up there the last couple years to watch. It's hot, so wear sunscreen and bring a bottle of water.

If you are there this year, you should definetly check it out. I think the Bucs are buidling a training facility over in Tampa so I am not sure how much longer they will be at Disney!

DH has been a huge Bucs fan for 20 years and is planning to check out the camp. I don't remember where I got this information but here it the schedule I have. I remember copying it about 6 weeks ago so I don't know if it has been updated since.

Practices marked with an “ST” are the aforementioned special teams-only workouts. Again, fans should be aware that some players do not attend these practices. The “WT” notation indicates a walk-through on the day before a game. These practices are very brief and are run at half-speed.

The Bucs’ stay in the Celebration Hotel.

You Bucs fans that are going to WDW and attend the training camp, might be interested to know that the players actually stay at the Celebration Hotel in the town of Celebration. It's about ten minutes from WDW. They eat at the restaurants in town and at the hotel.

Another idea is to go to a pre-season game. My husband is surprising my son and taking him to the Tampa Bay vs Miami Dolphins game on August 19th in Tampa. My son is a huge Miami Dolphins fan. It looks like it is only a little over an hour ride.

We're taking DS12 down to watch for a few days (S-Th) before school starts. He is so excited!

we go a couple of times every pre-season. the morning drills are definately better to attend- it's not as hot, and the players are more relaxed. lots of opportunities for autographs.

they are building a state of the art practice facility here, so enjoy the pre-season at WDW while you can.
