Tampa Airport

Thinking of booking a 5 night Carnival cruise during 2 week Orlando stay. I will Leave the hire car at Dollar Depot at start of Cruise and pick up again 5 days later, this will save about £100 in hire charges. Does anyone know how far it is to the port from the airport and the ease of getting a taxi to the port. Cruise leave 3rd january 2009.

I'm reasonably sure its less about 10 miles, maybe 20 minutes if my bearings are right.

Can't help with taxis but can't imagine there would be a problem giving where you are travelling between.

It's not far. Think the 10 miles estimate is pretty accurate. You shouldn't have a problem getting a taxi. Here is a link to the ground transportation page on the Tampa Airport website. $22 seems good value to me!
