Mini update. I saw some cute silver ballet flats today at local walmart, not exactly cinderella but close. They were about $13.00 and seemed to fit pretty well when I tried them on. I may invest in a pair for the ceremony and have the mickey flip flops for afterwards

with all the talk about petal cones.... I have made a sample one using the word directions another bride posted. Turned out pretty well will post pix later. Now just have to find the petals....

here is my first attempt.... just used regular paper, silk petals and curling ribbon to give it a try. I am thinking red petals with blue or gold organdy (a little wider than sample) ribbon tied around cone..... I just used the word format another bride mentioned. Also will make monogram opposite color of ribbon either blue or gold.what do you think?

working on a better sample. they are more like packets than cones but are flat for easier packing....more to come.

Thanks everyone! I used different ribbon(organdy blue and some gold) on another one and they look fancier. I will post a new picture later on....

I had been deciding if I would wear a tiara or not but after a mtg today( I am out of town for work) I went to michaels to kill some time and I found a tiara marked way down(originally $45.00 marked down to $7.00)....It is crystal and pearls in the shape of flowers(picking up on the floral details in my dress and I thought it would look pretty) and for that price I couldn't pass it up.... ! I will post a picture after I get home. My dress is scheduled to arrive thursday so I am excited to get home.
