Tambu Lounge open late??

What time does the Tambu Lounge close? We'll be arriving on a Thursday night and expect to be checking in at the POLY around 10-10:30PM assuming our flight is on time. Will we have time before it closes to go there after we check in?

I'm also curious about this as I'm in the same situation on May 17th... a Lapu Lapu upon arrival would sure start things off on the right foot.

Don't know about the Tambu Lounge, but the pool bar will be closed. That was my biggest complaint was they closed the pool bar too early.

Well, according to this link http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?Restaurant.ID=300 it looks like it's open til midnight. So enough time to get your Lapu lapu as long as your flight is on time.

Don't know about the Tambu Lounge, but the pool bar will be closed. That was my biggest complaint was they closed the pool bar too early.

Heck yeah, I'll second this! When we were there in November the pool bar closed insanely early...like by 4pm! I could understand if it was cold and people weren't swimming, but they were...

But we experienced the same problem at AKL in Sept. 06, although the pool bar stayed open till 7 I believe.


The Poly lost big time on me because I would've loved to buy a coctail (or 2) on the nights we returned to the resort early evening. Instead, I ended up drinking Diet Coke in my refillable mug. NOT the same! As a single parent traveling alone with a child, I'm not going to take her into a lounge in the evenings but certainly would love to have a drink on occasion while on vacation. And I can't get anything "tropical" out of the cooler at Captain Cook's!
