Tall People In Back Row Of Simpsons

I'm 6'4" and I just watched myself, didn't hit my head once .. the person next to me however, ran into me several times.
I just kept one arm on the thing infront of me, and the other holding my drink.
The person loading looked at me like I was crazy, too.

Luckily, I rode it like a....(fill in the blank) when I was a youngster. When I heard that they were putting in a new ride, I was excited to try it. This news doesn't sound too promising.

I hear ya...I'm not as tall as you but I have problems every time I ride it and I'm 6'2"!

I rode Simpsons again and this time in the front seat. Better for the head but worse on the knees. Every pitch forward slammed my knees into the dash and it is not padded at all. The floorboard is shaped in such a way as to not allow one to stretch out the legs straight. I did enjoy the actual ride video sequence more than the first time around. However given a choice between Simpsons and Disaster, i will choose Disaster

So are you telling me that my FI is screwed either way? We're going to US and IOA for one day during our Disney honeymoon. FI is looking forward to riding this, but I'm worried since he's 6'5". Should he get a middle seat?

I sat back row far right the first time
I sat front row far left the second time
I say stick him in the middle front and see how it goes.

at the point of entering the car there is no asking, you have to put yourself in position to get in the front row. so push and shove all those short people out of the way:worship:

I sat back right and I was fine, just make sure he watches himself. I held onto the thing infront of me, too - apparently the person next to me didn't realize it until after she bumped into me a good 15 times.

I'm short so head banging isn't a problem, but what's with the people who have to bring the friggin' lap bar down so hard that it cuts off any chance of properly breathing at any point during the ride? I'm surprised I didn't end up with a belly bruise. I'm not a tiny thing, but neither am I huge, and they always do this. Do they really think it's so easy to go flying out of a simulator that you have to lock yourself that far down?

We just returned yesterday. We rode the ride multiple times. None of us are very tall, but one time when we entered the pre-boarding room (the small room with only 8 people), the only tall guy was told by the ride employee that he would have to sit up front since he was over 6 feet tall. We were bummed because being short (5' 2"), we weren't thrilled to have to sit behind the tall guy and have our view obstructed. So we just rode again and were lucky enough to get the front row.
