I am a little premature in begining this trip report.. but maybe I am trying to make the time go faster? probably. My children are aware that we are in the planning of a trip... but have not been notified of the DATE. This I realize is a diabolical sadistic torture.. but I am enjoying it immensly. We will be leaving at approx 4 am tuesday March 15 for 6 nights and 5 days in Orlando. The children will not be aware of this until the evening of the 14th. The reveal is likely to be at the end of a lengthy treasure hunt.
Not that there EVER has to be a reason for a Disney Trip.. the reason we sojourn.. is that my dd4 is FINALLY over 40' tall.. and as an adrenaline junkie finally able to get her "ride on" at the world. (for almost everything anyway... I CANT wait until she is 48 inches tall..that could be years)
Cast of Characters.
Me. Michele. 28 posseses a firmly diagnosed untreatable case of OCDTPD (Obsessive Compulsive Disney Trip Planning Disorder) Grew up in Alaska.. so was never able to experience Disney as a child... making up for lost time in her adulthood. Has a "BIG FAT HIENEE" according to DD4 ( "Mommy? Can your big fat hienee fit on Space Mountain???") But does not fear fitting her size 26 hienee on any ride at WDW.. as I tried em all last trip. LOVES TINKERBELL
DH. Steven. 32 Admittedly NEEDS a vacation.. but would likely have as much fun at Myrtle Beach (60 miles from home) but is rolling with the flow and allowing for my Disney addiction. (I love that man) Has a well known fear of roller coasters and is a chicken hearted ride avoider. Has promised to attempt eating his impressive girth in Turkey legs while doing so. All gobblers should live in fear of this man. LOVES PIGLETT
DD10. Jasmin. Is attempting an early run at puberty and succeeds at impressive feats of eye rolling and death defying smart mouthed remarks. Is a former chicken hearted ride avoider.. however has lofty goals of riding anything set before her. Adores her younger sister and will do almost anything to please her. LOVES ANYTHING HER AUNT TINA LOVES
DD4 Caitlin or more commonly known as HER ROYAL HIENEE.. er HIENESS. A fearless addrenalin junkie who will attempt any thrill in her path. Giggles at inversions and is extremely put out at not being allowed on RnR coaster or Space Mountain. Will likely eat cheeseburgers with "chechup and extra pickles" at every meal on the trip. Adores her older sister.. but knows she will do almost anthing to please her. LOVES CINDERELLA.
SIS. Kristina aka "Aunt Tina" 25. Disney Virgin. As a sharer in my secluded Alaskan childhood, has never been to Disney. Tends to be a little reserved, but is really a child at heart. has been very "unexitable" in the planning of our trip, but has recently been caught reading the UG and watching the trip planning DVD in secret. Is a little afraid her also "BIG FAT HIENEE" will not fit on some rides at WDW.. will feel much better when we get there. LOVES POOH

As my sister has decided to grace us with her pressence this trip we will be staying offsite. I am extremly put out at this prospect, but cannot afford the price of a moderate (POR) or anything that allows for 5 people.. considered stuffing us all into a value room.. but was afraid the "hotel room police" would get wind of our evil plan and we would be banished. So we are forced into a suite at the Seralago Resort (formerly HI Maingate). In a coupon book I found while gorging on bacon and pancakes one sunday at our local Shoney's while skipping sunday school, I found a rate of $39.95 a night and could not beat it anywhere.
We ordered 4 day tickets from Ticketmania and are anxiously awaiting thier arrival... more on our trip as time appoaches
