Fellow DIS'ers...
I'm in Orlando now and I found a brand of beer that I like that I would like to take with me to the ship.
These are 25oz cans....they don't come in 6 packs, they sell them individually... how many am I allowed to take in? Still 6 pp? I will only have 6 in total regardless.. and there's 3 adults in my party.
TIA.

The official policy is 1 six pack of 12 oz beers per legal adult. You will her comments here saying that because this is the policy you will not be able to take the cans as they are greater than 12 oz each and not in the policy.

However, I do not see anything wrong with you trying to bring aboard at most 2 cans as this is under the 72 total ounces in a 6 pack. You may be able to talk to someone if they question you. The worst that happens is they hold them for the cruise.

Yes, the exact wording is:

Disney Cruise Line Guests 21 years and older may bring a maximum of 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces) on board at the beginning of the voyage and at each port of call. These beverages must be packed in carry-on (not checked) bags or luggage.

Since it specifically says "6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces)" I'd say they mean specifically 6 cans and each can may be no larger than 12 ounces.

thank you for the reply.
I will bring them with me and tell the person checking that each adult is bringing (2)/ea ... hopefully they'll let them in, if not, I'll just surrender them... its just beer.
Thanks again.

This brings an interesting question... My wife and I are beer drinkers, not wine drinkers. Do you think we could bring on a 750ml Bottle of a Russian Imperial Stout we both love? It is 12% abv just like a lot of wines, and it looks like a wine bottle from the outside. I doubt anyone would say anything in port...

Hmmm... Do you think we could also pay the corkage fee and get it served to us in Palo or one of the MDRs? That would be spectacular, but it is a beer and not wine or champagne...

I mean this is black instead of red or white, it is carbonated and thicker than wine... but it is so much tastier
