I've heard that there is a talking trash can in Animal Kingdom. Somewhere by Rafiki's planet watch. Is it hard to get to/hard to find? We will be in WDW mid-December and my 2 1/2 yr old son is obsessed with all things related to garbage trucks & trash cans. I can't even explain how much he'd love to see a talking disney trash can! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

We saw Pipa (she's a Recycling can) near the petting zoo. It was really cute to watch. :)

Push (the trash can) appears in Tomorrowland, but I'm not sure where.

My son met PUSH at Disneyland about a year ago and that really was the highlight of his trip.

We just got back from WDW last week and we met Pipa in Animal Kingdom! My son was thrilled that he met "PUSH's cousin!" LOL
There wasn't many people there so my son and Pipa spent a lot of time together.
My son thinks the talking trash can is a real robot and he loves robots so he thinks the trash can is awesome!

I am so glad he hasn't figured it out that is it a castmember talking. It is great to see his eyes light up when he is talking to Pipa.

Good Luck finding either PUSH or Pipa.
PUSH is in tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom
Pipa is at Rafaki's Watch in Animal Kingdom

Whilst waiting to get in, this May, there was a talking plant ...just to see the kids faces was so funny!! :thumbsup2

I've seen him across from the Indy Speedway, kind of by Cosmic's. He was there all the times we've seen him in Tomorrowland. I think it's by chance. We like looking for the guy operating him! LoL. :teeth:

According to Steve Soares, Pipa can be found around Rafiki's Planet Watch at 10:20 & 11:10am, 12:00, 12:50 & 1:40pm, though it allows as how these times are not published and may not, therefore, be current.

When I was there with my 2 year old son, he saw the end of one set and was checking all the garbage cans in the area to see if they talked. We chatted with the CM who was at the entrance to the Planet Watch courtyard and she radioed to see when Pipa's next set was going to start. We stayed for the next set and it was a real hit with my little boy, as you can tell my my avatar. :)

We also happened to see Wes Palm out front of Animal Kingdom prior to opening, and PUSH in Tomorrowland.

Hope you find them! :)

Too cute! But it reminds me of a story my old roommate on the college program told me. She worked in Tomorrowland and was chatting with a family relaying their story about seeing Push. Their kids desperately wanted a picture with the moving, talking trash can and the parents were trying to explain, "it doesn't move and talk in the picture - everyone's going to think you had your picture taken with a regular trash can and think we're all nuts!" :rotfl2:

Yep, I have a picture of my DS6 next to PIPA. I have a magnates made of all the characters he has met and had photos with on the refrigerator, including that one. It does look a little odd...and usually needs an explanation.

We talked with the trashcan a couple weeks ago at the Conservation station in AK (the one you take the train to). It was hysterical! It followed dd around and whined like a puppy until she talked to it.

There was also a talking palm tree or plant at the entrance of AK (before you go through the ticket line).

PIPA at Rafiki's Planet watch is a green trash can and very very funny! He "picked" on my DD one day because she had on a green shirt and he was the same color. She also had a rubber snake that was involved as well. After about 10 min of interaction, it seemed he proposed to DD and I was going to be his MIL!

PUSH is a silver trash can in Tomorrowland - He "lives" near the rest rooms across from Indy Cars, and is seen most often in that area - he is very funny as well. He was "playing" Elvis music the other week. I got rather annoyed when a young teen girl walked up and kicked him.... how RUDE!

It's fun to search the crowd and look for the "voice"!!!

When we went we had no idea it was so organized we just happened to be standing searching through my backpack when the trashcan started moving next to us. Then it started talking about what my girls were wearing and talking right to them. (They were 1.5 and 2.5 at the time) We were in total hysterics. We were the only family around and it was so funny. My girls thought it was hilarious and when we got home they continually were asking about the trashcans at the mall.

Anyway, we saw it right in the middle of that planet watch area near some benches. I hope you see it, it's really neat.
