Talking trash and water in Epcot???

Can anyone tell me where exactly to find the talking trash can and water drinking fountains? We want to surprise our kids!!Thanks

last week we saw the talking trash can in MK in front of the raceway cars. The can was chasing my son and calling his name. Make sure someone mentions the names of the children and that way the trash can will call out the name.

The "entity" at the entrance to Animal Kingdom is not a trash can these days but there is "Wes Palm" (although there IS a walking/talking trash can inside DAK at the Conservation Station).

Wes Palm is a talking potted palm tree who rolls around near the from gates at DAK in the mornings and jokes with guests.

At Epcot, the trash cans are stationary, but some of them at the Electric Umbrella (CS restaurant in FW) have voices that thank guests for depositing their refuse.

As for Epcot's talking drinking fountains, when last I checked, the ones in the area of the stand-alone restrooms in front of "Imagination" spoke.
As well as the drinking-fountains near the "sprayground" (where kids can play in the water spray) on the central bridge between FW and WS.

Hi. I don't know where it is in Epcot but we were talked to by a trash can at AK last year. My daughters thought it was absolutely hysterical. When we got home they asked me about every single trash can at the mall!

The trash can was inside the conservation station. I don't know if it's always there or not. But he was making some funny jokes and could obviously "see" what my daughters were wearing/doing based on the comments. Very funny!

I am going to have to find the talking trash can when we go in November!!

My daughter wanted to see the talking trash can last September when we were there and my MIL asked a photographer or balloon person on Main Street in MK where the talking trash can was and he didn't know, he said check Sesame Street!! Seriously!!!

As far as the trash can, I have also seen it in the magic kingdom in the tomorrow land section.

I def. know there is a talking water fountain in epcot. I will do my best to describe where it is. if you are on the side of the park near the Land. It is on that side of the building in the middle where they do the character meeting things. IT is hard for me to explain but its sort of in between the land and the building where figment and the imagination insitute is in. i believe there are some bathrooms there.

it is really cool. when you use the water fountain it makes a drinking sound as the water goes down the drain, then when you stop it says...."ahhhh thanks...i needed that"

maybe someone else can give a better description of where it is.

No trash can has spoken to me but the water fountain (it's a double one) by the big Epcot fountain (the one that dances to the music) didn't work when I pushed it. Then I heard this banging and rattling from down in the pipes...I was like, "Oh, God, what did I do?" Then Belle (I think it was Belle) starts rambling on about what was going on down there.

Too funny.

The potted plant at AK tried to chase us back into the park when we left at about 10 a.m. One of the kids said a tree tried to "get" him. I said, "No, trees don't 'get' anyone. You must have brushed by it." Then all the kids were like, "No, mom! The tree is following us!" Sure enough, it was. It came around and tried to push us back in the park.

It didn't talk then (I've seen it talking since)...we had no idea at the time what it was. We really enjoyed that!

Check with guest services on Main Steet. They can usually tell you the time of appearance, and location of Push.

We saw Wes Palm at the entrance to AK right around opening during our last trip. He was in the lines with people trying to get in. We got to see Wes Palm and Push during our last trip!

We saw the talking trash can at AK in 2004. My boys thought he was the best thing about the whole trip!!! I hope we can find him somewhere this December!
