I've been waiting for my seagull post lamp to talk ever since I got it! It's name is Phillip. As soon as it learns to talk, I'm sending it a friend request. And yes, if that were possible, I would.

That's a really creepy glitch, if that's what it is.
I'm pretty sure you can't put spaces in your name when naming a character, but it is possible that that could be a bug as well.
I, for one, hope my furnishings stay silent.

Yes, I just tested a new character and I could not put a space in between titles.

Unfortunately, if it is happening, it would be nice to see more picture to prove it then just hearing people say they have seen it. Pictures are alot more believable although some individual's photoshop skills are impeccable.

So if you have seen it, share the pics.

I remember that halloween maze event, I went in that exact same room,
but the furniture didn't talk to me.

Thank goodness someone provided proof!

HOLY COW! When I first started reading this thread, I was thinking PHOTOSHOP! It's very easy to make speech bubbles any length you want and make anybody say anything...

BUT more and more of you keep saying your furniture talked to you and now I'm started to get a little creeped out. It's too late at night to be reading this thread.

If my furniture ever talked to me, I think I'd be hightailing it out of there!!

I can't speak for other people who claim that furniture and other objects spoke to them in game, but that's my room where one of the Mickey ghosts talked to me. This happened last October. Check the picture as closely as you want, it's not an edit, it's an actual screen shot I took with VMK Pal.

A number of people reported similar things around the same time; the thought was that either VMK was playing tricks on us for Halloween, or there was some glitch in the programming that caused NPC phrases to come out of random objects.

It looks like VMK might have been playing a joke. I would not put it past them.
