talking chairs? read!

I've been waiting for my seagull post lamp to talk ever since I got it! It's name is Phillip. As soon as it learns to talk, I'm sending it a friend request. And yes, if that were possible, I would.

That's a really creepy glitch, if that's what it is. :scared:
I'm pretty sure you can't put spaces in your name when naming a character, but it is possible that that could be a bug as well.
I, for one, hope my furnishings stay silent.:ssst:

Yes, I just tested a new character and I could not put a space in between titles.

Unfortunately, if it is happening, it would be nice to see more picture to prove it then just hearing people say they have seen it. Pictures are alot more believable although some individual's photoshop skills are impeccable.

So if you have seen it, share the pics.:thumbsup2

I'm not going to believe any of this talk of talking furnishings until I see it with my own eyes.

And if it does happen, I'll get a picture and you'll know it's true because I can't photoshop to save my life!

Okay, I have first hand proof. This was in a HOST room during a ride event for Halloween items. This is NOT editted and was taken by me from PAL.

I remember that halloween maze event, I went in that exact same room,
but the furniture didn't talk to me. :rotfl:

Thank goodness someone provided proof! :thumbsup2

And Lava Boy knows I have no photoshop skillz! He had to tell me how to take a screen shot when my PAL wasn't working!!! lol

HOLY COW! When I first started reading this thread, I was thinking PHOTOSHOP! It's very easy to make speech bubbles any length you want and make anybody say anything...

BUT more and more of you keep saying your furniture talked to you and now I'm started to get a little creeped out. It's too late at night to be reading this thread. :)

If my furniture ever talked to me, I think I'd be hightailing it out of there!! :scared1:

When did you start photoshopping? :)

cough: sorry Krazy :(

but I still dont see any evidence of it happening now. This is from halloween.

..
Can't you ever just accept that we can actually be right sometimes, and you
lava boy wrong? :rotfl:

Yes, but just because its from the past does not mean it DIDNT happen, sir. :lmao: If so there would be no reason with me taking my current History course.

I agree. But show me :) It doesnt prove it did happen again either LOL.

I just want to see if I owe aj an apology too so far I dont :rotfl:

I can't speak for other people who claim that furniture and other objects spoke to them in game, but that's my room where one of the Mickey ghosts talked to me. This happened last October. Check the picture as closely as you want, it's not an edit, it's an actual screen shot I took with VMK Pal.

I can't figure out how to post attachments on the DIS, and I can't post direct links here because I'm too new, but here's the topic where I posted the original picture:

www . vmkforums . com /forums/showpost.php?p=1791842&postcount=1791

A number of people reported similar things around the same time; the thought was that either VMK was playing tricks on us for Halloween, or there was some glitch in the programming that caused NPC phrases to come out of random objects.
