Talked to a DCL rep 4/2 at a travel show

Talked at length with a Disney rep yesterday at a travel show ... I asked point blank about a 3rd ship and he said:

-- YES there will be a 3rd ship; plans are FINAL and approved; shipyard has been decided upon; the contract is drawn up ... it will be signed the second that Euro/USD rate is at 1.24 (okay, that's not happening this week) and as soon as the ink drys they will "cut metal."

-- The third ship is slated for FLORIDA and the fourth ship is already set for CALIFORNIA but he cautioned not to count on a permanently fixed CA ship for 5-7 years. *sigh*

5-7 years!!!!! Bummer! Guess we will have to keep going to Florida -

No, I didn't write down his name ... he's probably some kind of west coast rep (just a guess) ... the booth was for DCL, DLR and WDW ... he laughed and said I should work the booth (I knew more about the repo cruises than he did .. said I was the first person he's met that'll be on the AUG repo .. he's met a lot of people that'll be on the May repo .. said May 28th in San Pedro will be a HUGE deal)
