I've seen some type of attraction on YouTube where it looks like you go in a little room and talk to Stitch with your family/friends. Is this still there?? I LOVE Stitch and was really excited when I saw this (planning our first DL trip now!) But, I didn't want to get my hopes up in case it isn't there anymore. :confused3

I'm so sorry to tell you it's not there anymore. It was the test prototype for the Turtle Talk with Crush attraction that resides in DCA. Once that was successfully established, they removed the Stitch one.

We did it once and it was fabulous! It was such a one-on-one personal interaction that you can't get with Turtle Talk.

Really? That breaks my little Stitch-loving heart. I was so looking forward to that attraction!

I'm proud to say I'm a mid-twenty year old who owns every Stitch movie and can recite them by heart. (Newly married) DH now adores those movies, too. We sat on YouTube one night and watched videos of that attraction for a good few hours; and, I was even planning on making a fun Stitch shirt for it.

Darn it!

*Goes off and sulks for the rest of the day; and develops a new-found dislike for Crush*

The Stitch attraction in Innoventions was really fun, but don't let it's absence turn your heart from Stitch.:lovestruc

Instead, make sure you enjoy the Lilo & Stitch Breakfast at Paradise Pier. :thumbsup2 I have done that several times, and Stitch (and friends) are always very animated and love interacting with the diners. If you go, I bet you'll rekindle your :lovestruc for Stitch!

(Also, at the Lilo and Stitch Breakfast, you can order the buffet, or off the menu, whichever you prefer. Either way Stitch will come to your table and visit with you!)

oh sorry, I read it wrong, I thought you your love was dwindling for stitch. Still, don't be too hard on Crush, his show is very cute - be sure to check it out!

Oh! No, no; my love for Stitch will never die!! :lovestruc :rotfl:

I'm planning on doing the Lilo & Stitch breakfast; I'll just make my shirt for that instead.

We've done Crush at WDW, so I'm not sure if we'll do it at DL, too. It'll depend on how much time we end up having. I'm still just really, really sad to find out that Stitch attraction is gone! There's not much to do with Stitch at the parks - minus the character meets or the breakfasts.

Ah! I dunno when I'll actually be making it to DL Paris, though. Hopefully it'll still be there when that time comes! I'm pretty sure DH wouldn't be up for hopping on a plane to Paris just so I can see Stitch; haha. We have a goal to make it there for an extended vacay after I finish grad/law school. I'll just have to wish/hope it's still there by then! :wizard:

I never got to see that! Bummer, I wonder why never did. Sounds really cool.

But you will enjoy the breakfast for sure. Stitch spent a lot of time at our table. Even had a seat and tried to eat ds's food. LOL

Yeah it was in innovations but there was only like 1 show a day or something like that. It was apparently removed due to very low foot traffic. At that time they were barely getting 5000 people a day into innovations on a good day. Considering the park holds way more then 10Xs that many people, its not a good turn over. Then again there was no advertising for it that I can remember.

It was a regular stop for us, my DD loved talking to him. The full size character is nice, but totally different than actually talking to him. We stumbled across it and loved it ever since. I would love to see it come back!

OMG?! They had that attraction?? Now I'm sad that it's been gone  I still happy with Talk to Crush but for Stitch lovers.. it's heartbreaking :guilty:

I know that would have been a really awesome attraction to keep. I wish they had more advertising for it. I hope they bring it back too.

Well... actually....

Stitch left Innoventions to return to his home planet. :goodvibes Seriously, the reason he was removed was that the Stitch exhibit was never meant to stay at Innoventions as long as it did. The equipment that was being used to run the show finally became outdated and not able to continue at the quality level desired. It was keep longer than planned due to popularity and guest interest.

I am so sad I missed this! Huge Stitch fan here, Lilo too! How can you not be in love with those two, sassy attitude and all!

I love to see Stitch in the park. I think it would have been great to have that type of interaction with him. I love Turtle Talk though, so hopefully if they ever do bring back Stitch, it isn't in exchange for Crush. We need both! :cheer2:

BRING STITCH BACK!!

:cheer2:

The DH definitely did not approve of going to any of the out-of-country DLs right now just so I could see this attraction. Bah humbug! :rotfl:

Someone on disboards should write a petition for everyone on this site and for everyones friends and families to be able to sign. We should then submit it and hope for the best. :goodvibes

You might not have to get your hopes up. Rumor has it (WDW I know is more certain than DL unfortunately) is that they are looking into doing an interactive street party in Tomorrowland with a Stitch interaction as part of this "what are you celebrating" campaign. It probably won't be the one-on-one of Disneyland (I'm bummed that I missed out on it too!!), but more like Paris/Hong Kong's. Plus, if you plan around someone's birthday, one of you can get a free day in the park to see him. =)

I think a lot rides on this rough economy though too, thus why it's all a lot of speculation, rumor, and buzz. All I know is Orlando Sentinel mentioned the Tomorrowland party, so would Disney mention something like that to media and NOT deliver? Hmm, wrong and openly publicized Test Track opening dates come to mind...so don't answer that. Hehe.

In the meanwhile, the "my stitch" feature from the Disneyland Paris site is super cute. I like letting him sit idle and start crawling around my screen...adorable! I'm also a huge Stitch fan, he's worth it. =)

Can you post a link for this? Having Stitch on my computer sounds very cute!
