Hi all...OP here. I appreciate your continued feedback so much! I just love the Disboard group! I figured my Nov 1-7 waitlist was a total long shot, and instead of fretting about it, and fretting about what to do with the difference of 4 points (my banking deadline is September 30th and I hate the idea of losing 4 points), I cancelled my waitlist. We're going to enjoy CC, and we'll work to stay at BR in the future.

You have 40 years to try out Boulder Ridge, I wouldn't worry too much Also it's just unfortunate timing because Nov 1-7 coincides with a marathon weekend. Any other time a 1BR that far in advance would probably open up. I've been stalking studios for that weekend and it's been a struggle. I only need 1 night thankfully but over the past couple weeks the only studio I've seen open up was a Kidani savannah that I jumped on.

@intamin We are running the 5k during that week; that's is bringing us to WDW for the week. Right after I got DH and I into the runDisney 5k, we looked at what was available. Both CC and BR were available and I booked CC because I thought BR was still being refurbed. When I realized that the refurbs were done, I went to switch to BR and none were available. First world problems for sure; we'll enjoy CC this time and we have BR to look forward to in the future.

Well aktshually.. she has a direct contract at VGF so unless they shut down BRV or remove it from the DVC portfolio entirely in 2042 then it would be 40 years. But I did think about the BRV expiration date. Guaranteed 18 years, likely 40

Update: Managed to switch from a savanna studio at kidani to a CCV studio with a walk in shower over marathon weekend just further proof that stalking the system works.. even if it is at almost 3AM

Had a 2 nights in 1bed AKV standard booked as part of a split stay in September. Had waitlisted BWV 1 bed months ago… would stalk of and on but nada.

Last week got an email the waitlist had filled! Could have knocked me over with a feather… it’s even a standard view so only 1 point more than the AKV.

After so long , I had pretty much given up on the waitlist… Boardwalk in September? Never say never! Lol
