Talk to me about Thanksgiving week discounts...please

We haven't been that week since 2006. What can I expect as far as public discounts? Anything? I only get pin codes in my sisters name to my email, although some CM's have said I can use it. I currently have one in her name for free dining but haven't called to see if they will let me use it yet.

What do y'all think are the chances that a T-Day week discount will come out at this point? Should I abandon all hope? Have they ever come out this late before?

We went last year Sat-Sat of Thanksgiving (Whispering Canyon Cafe was a PERFECT Thanksgiving meal!) and the November discount that was offered ended the Friday before our stay and started back up the Saturday we left. But our dates were solid and we could not budge on them.

I think that was one of the reasons we stopped going during Thanksgiving week was the lack of discounts.

I would love areally good room discount but don't think that will happen.

So for now i will stick with th free dining pin.

BTW i booked WCC for Thanksgiving too.

Last year we got Annual Pass discount for first 2 nights (Sunday and Monday nights of Thanksgiving week) at Wilderness Lodge. Hoping for the same this year. If not, hoping for Free Dining GP. (No pin code received). We check in on Nov. 23rd. We have ALWAYS done room only discount, but Free Dining might sway me to book package instead. Need to do the math to see which would be better but hard to do since neither discount actually out yet.

We have always done room discount also! This is our first FD package. We check in on the 23rd also.
