Talk to me about purses/bags/backpacks - recommendations

We bring a regular backpack that my DH and two DS15's carry. We bring it on rides. I carry a small purse that goes across my shoulders. Our DS's also carry a small cell phone pack on their belt. They put their tickets and FPs in that, along with a phone.

Looking at all these bags makes me want to buy a bunch of them. I can see how easy it would be to keep buying cute bags!

I thought I posted on here, but I don't see it. I just got, (a month or so ago) my new bag that I bought for our Disney trip this year. I read for ages, and finally decided on this one, after seeing it in person at REI. I chose the Donner by Overland. I like that it hangs across and has a nice big strap, room for two water bottles, a non zipper pocket, a velcro pocket, and lots of zipper pockets too. It is fairly spacious, and I think will hold everything we need for a day. (except coats and rain gear, if that is needed) I immedietly loaded it up and tried it out, including water bottles. I wore it all day, and honestly did not even feel it. I am so happy with this bag! I know a lot of people use it, but have not seen it mentioned, so thought I would.

Yipee ~ I just did the same thing! I like the looks of the Donner bag but it'd be $10 more than I paid for the Baggalini. I got it in black ~ boring I know, but it'll look cute with a LGMH dangling from it.

Those with small backpacks do you take turns watching the backpack? Can you bring it on the ride with you? It’s been years since I’ve been to Disneyland and I only had to worry about myself then! Thanks!

When we do backpacks (I have sling style backpack, where the straps are the pull strings for the bag) we just bring them on the rides. Sometimes DBF uses a full size bag and he takes it on the rides too. If it won't fit in the bag on the ride we put it under our feet and weave the straps between our legs. The only ride we don't do that one is CA Screamin' because it goes upside down.

I think that bringing a bag to DL has a lot of variables to it. It depends on what you plan on bringing, whether or not you take a break during the day to go back to the hotel, if you wanna save money by bringing your own snacks & drinks, if you have bulky things to bring around (like my tripod), and if you have someone to help carry the load.

When I go with my cousins, we usually stay ALL day, so it is essential that we bring everything we need. I also love to take photographs with my Nikon and bring my tripod for night shots. Thats why I bought this beauty :

I bought a Big Purse/bag at WDW it is Water Resisant and has a Large Sorcer Mickey on it. It is shaped like this \_/ it has the short over the shoulder handles!! I love this bag! It fits everything!

ACK, I just bought it for $35 or something somewhere else. Well...thanks anyway because I bought the khaki and I've been having second thoughts that maybe I should have gotten the black one. Perhaps I will get the black one now. Also.

For the record I saw something on here about the green mickey heads at Home Depot (hey I'm a newbie, I'm just getting the hang of this stuff!) and I went and swiped 31 of them. And I got a couple of orange and teal ones for the girls.

Okay, I just could not resist! Inspite of the fact that I have the Donner, which I love and was able to buy for $23.00 deliverer, but now the lowest it can be found is $35, I did have to order myself the black baggilini. This was always my second choice, and heck, I do have two disney trips coming up, so don't I need two bags??

I am wondering how long it takes to arrive? I am actually leaving on Feb. 14, and if the bag arrives in time, will take both with me, hoping my hubby will pack the baggilini (I won't tell him it is called a "woman's bag".

It is looking like rain, so I know we will be packing extra stuff with us do deal with the rain.

i purchased the mickey cross over bag yesterday and it iwll be here next week , i am so excited, i also keep looking at the baggalini but having to pay border fees etc, is exspensive, do you know of any stores in canada that sell them and also can you just go into a store in california and pick one up ??
