We are going to DCA tomorrow -- should be through the gates by about 8:30. If we head straight to Arendelle, we will get a pager for Olaf? Does it work anywhere in the park or only close by?

And we can get a FP for A&E, but it doesn't negate getting another FP, right?

Thanks -- I am definitely more excited about this than my kiddos (who are 8 and 11). But then, they were lukewarm about meeting Hiro and Baymax, too, and then LOVED the experience.

Go to Olaf first, since that line will build faster than A&E. Enter the snow fest area and take a right. You will see the gift shop and the desk to get the pager will be on the left. They will tell you approx how long until you are paged. For us it was only 20 min. You can either then play in the snow or go across the street and grab a FP for A&E. You are supposed to stay in the Hollywood area, but can go in the shop, bathrooms, etc. After you are paged then you will get in the actual line for Olaf, at that point it should be a 10-15min wait.

If you didn't grab FP earlier for A&E then do that after Olaf. We grabbed ours around 9:30 and got a return time for 10:15-10:35. When it was our time to return we only waited about 10min to see them.

This was all done on an EMH day, but we didn't arrive until 8:15 and even grabbed RSR before heading to Olaf. It worked out great because after A&E it was our time to ride RSR.

Angrose, thanks -- that's exactly the info I was looking for! One more question -- do we need our tickets to get either the Olaf or the A&E FP? Could DH go to RSR and get FPs while the kids and I head to Arendelle?

We visited last week and did both M&Gs. We did have early entry so we had maybe a 10 minute wait for A&E and about a 5 minute wait for Olaf. We met them all within about 10 minutes of park opening and stayed to play in the snow for a bit so when we left the Frozen Fun area the park was officially open. At that time the area was not particularly busy, I think most of the guests raced over to get Radiator Springs fast passes.

I saw a post from a cast member on another forum indicating that the pagers for Olaf work throughout most of Hollywood Land. They recommended going to the Disney Animation building. If you ask the cast member handing out pagers they should be able to give you the exact range.

I don't think we showed our tickets for the Olaf pager, but you will need all tickets for A&E and RSR FPs. I think it would totally work to have your DH get them. Have fun!

You will need your tickets to get the Anna&Elsa FP and RSR FP. But they are no linked. So you can get one right after the other. But you can't get the Annna&Elsa and Sing-A-Long FP at the same time. They are linked

First week of March we pulled FP's for A&E and then went over to Olaf for the pager. The Olaf CM said to go to A&E for the time on the FP's and if the beeper went off for Olaf to come after A&E meet and greet.

Worked out great. The kids played in the snow zone while waiting for the A&E time. As we were getting in line to see A&E the Olaf beeper went off. When we finished the M&M we returned to the Olaf M&M line. Once we were in each line we were through in less than 10 minutes.

It worked out rather nicely. It didn't eat up any park time. From FP/Beeper for both - to line up - to Hi and bye was about 30 min

Will the Olaf greeting be ending soon? We would love to meet him in June.

Thanks for this info! I was wondering what the best strategy would be for our upcoming trip. We've been to DL twice since the whole Anna & Elsa meet & greet debacle began and we never made it to see them because we weren't willing to wait hours and hours. I'm so glad they've got it all figured out now. My granddaughter has been waiting patiently to meet them!

We did the same thing but watched the Frozen Sing Along show. I kept the beeper under my leg in case it made too much noise but you couldn't hear it over the music. It went off once when we sat down and again during "Let it Go." When it was over we went straight over to the Olaf M&G and check-in with out any problems. We probably waited 10 minutes to meet Olaf at that point.

Unfortunately the current Frozen Fun (except the A&E M&G) is set to end May 21. I don't know if Olaf will be getting a different, permanent M&G when it is over (maybe wit A&E?).

Here's my report back from today (Tuesday, March 24th). CA had 8 am opening. We were walking into Frozen Fun area by 8:30. And... Olaf was not yet greeting people and the snow area wasn't open. There was a 45 min outside line-up for Olaf and no beepers. The CMs told me that they'd be handing out beepers once we was up and running. Okay, kind of a bummer. So we pull 10 am FPs for A&E.

Go ride Goofy Sky School twice, Swings, head back. 75 minute wait for Olaf. No beepers. BUT, they just opened the snow area so we head in there. The kids do the sleds and see Olaf (we don't meet him, just see what he looks like), we collectively decide that the Olaf M&G just isn't meant to be for today. Not sure if something was up this morning, or if they just decided not to open at 8?

Head over to A&E, they let us in ten minutes early. We waited ten minutes, and I was able to completely embarrass my 11-year-old by lip synching dramatically to Let It Go. A&E were good. I kinda wish I had gotten a photo of just my daughter with them, but oh well. Clever how they have three separate rooms -- they are really careful with those doors! I didn't realize we'd be meeting them together, which was definitely more fun. They had a good banter.

At noon, I checked and the FPs for A&E were for 7 pm. RSR FPs were gone at this point.

DS and I were able to ride TOT, which has been down a lot since Friday, so yay! The line was up to 60 minutes but we had FP.

It definitely was getting crowded today. We saw Aladdin (which was full) and ran around the Redwoods. Were underwhelmed by the Smoke Jumpers QS makeover.

I wonder if Olaf slept through his alarm this morning :). Glad you at least saw A&E. The new set up is so efficient. There's no way we would have waited in a 3hr line when they were at DL! Did you see the Frozen show over at the Royal Theatre? It's really cute.
