Hi, we will end up with a total of 7 park days and 5 options with the tickets and left overs that we have. I'm now thinking about 14 days instead of 7 at WDW. What to you think? The expense increases a bit more than $2000.00 for the extra week with car rental, food and accomodations.

Definately go for two! It will give you the time to really enjoy things, take them at a slower pace and you'll be able to revisit some of your favorites! You can use your options at the waterparks which are a full day themselves! You can never have two much Disney!

Sandra - I'm surprised you need convincing! :) I think two weeks at WDW sounds like heaven. We went for 10 days last time, and it was nice to take things a little bit easier, and to take a day off to let the kids go on the Pirate Cruise, and another to let DH and DS head to the Kennedy Space Centre. Two weeks would just be that much better!

go for 2, if you can do the extra$ it will be well worth it. WE loved our week but i felt rushed trying to do everythink. the kids would have enjoyed taking a day off between parks to swim and just play! We would have liked more time to enjoy the resort and tour other resorts. YOu will come home more relaxed!!!

Look into the computer screen, concentrate....
You are getting sleepy, very sleepy.....
Listen carefully and I will give you instructions and after you read this you will

WAKE UP !!!!!!

And book for two weeks at WDW,
you will have a fantastic time,
you and your family will laugh, play and enjoy yourselves immensley....
and last but not least you have decided to adopt wenabre and her DD into your
family group and will take them along with you!!!!!!:D :D

NOW WAKE UP !!!!!!!

P.S. Please send trip dates to my email ( so I can get packed in time) ....
and if this hypnosis didn't work,
Have a super great time without me!

just my 2 cents..............

Yes, it is an extra $2000., but that isn't double what you would spend for 1 week, right? I figure since you'll already be there, that is a deal! (Ok well in Canadian funds its still alot, but I say go for it!) Not to mention the little bit of sanity you'll save by maybe having a couple of down days by the pool.
We went for 1 week last time, and the Feb are staying for 2! Cant wait!!

Sandra, we originally had a week planned at WDW this past July. As the week came to an end, I couldn't bear to leave, so we stayed an extra 3 days. It was wonderful (we got to stay at AKL) but at the end of those additional 3 days, I STILL wasn't ready to leave (but we had to). I would have loved to have stayed for a full two weeks--maybe I would have been able to do everything I had wanted in that time. As it was, I was able to relax a bit more, enjoy my surroundings and soak in the atmosphere, having those extra days.

I say, if you have the time and can afford to, go for the full two weeks. You can go to the parks, go site-seeing, visit other attractions in the area, go shopping or just relax at the pool! It is so much easier to take longer vacations while the kids are still young--take advantage of this! :)

Hey Sandra, waiting to hear if you have decided on the two weeks yet? By the way did my computer hypnosis work and are we now adopted and going also? LOL :D

LOL your computer hypnosis made me laugh so loud, dh came running and got a giggle too! It's really dh holding me back on two weeks. (stinker). The kids and I are ready to move to Florida! (that's a dream). dh thinks one week away from home is plenty. (dh thinks he's losing the radio stations on the car radio when we drive around the block). I think I'll work on him some more. I'm ready for two weeks at WDW! One week just isn't enough. We usually go Sat. to Sat. so both Saturdays are out ~ travelling days. So it's really only 6 Disney days. We like doing all four parks often and last trip discovered the fun of BB and TL! We end up sacrificing "DOWN TIME TO RELAX" for more DISNEY FUN! With two weeks we can alternate busy days and down days (to me a down day would be half a day at TL or resort hopping for lunch). Let me work on it and I'll let you know.

We will never spend less than 10 days at WDW there is just way to much to do and see for only 1 week take the extra week then you can resort hop and check out all the great resorts on the property it is soooo much fun to walk through them all and see what they have to offer. Take 2 weeks and enjoy yourself.

Ps. if your husband doesn't want to then send him home after 1 week and stay with the kids hehehe.

The experience may by $2000 more, but personally, I think the second week is way more fun than the first. It's double the fun, so in fun dollars it'll only cost half as much.

If you're staying on-site, it's the second week that will completely remove you from the reality of this troubled world, replacing it with a Disney version. Disney version of reality is the best ride off all. You can pace yourself, go back to your favorite rides, get more time in at the resort pool (and by they way Disney resort pools are terrific), and be able to spend time looking at WDW close up... You know people rush too quickly through the parks, without taking the time to look at the incredible detail that Disney has put into their version of reality.

Honestly, we booked a 1 week trip to WDW, that was supposed to then be followed by a sightseeing drive... well that plan got tossed on day 6, and we ended up with as 12 day Disney dream vacation... We started out with a 1 day extension... then 2 more, then 1 more.... all the while we were being enticed by the hotel front desk, who kept leaving offers of a discounted room rate if we'd stay just one more day.

Whatever you decide, you're going to have a fantastic time...
