I woke up in a bad mood. Market is down, oil spill is still spilling, 9.7% unemployment, U.S. out of the world cup, 9 years in Afganistan and no intelligent life spotted in D.C.

Have been on a waitlist for an upgrade to a 1BR at BCV for almost 3 months. Leaving in three days and although I've been calling every day twice a day to check, nothing has come open. I called about 12pm today and reconfirmed nothing was available. Still in a bad mood.

Five minutes later, the CM I talked to called back and said a 1BR just came open and we are all set / all upgraded.

Not only do we have a kitchen, we don't lose the points that we would have lost by not using them this year (could not bank them).

My mood changed! Life is Good! Everything is rosy in the world (well not really but I can hope can't I?)

The CMs kept telling me that the closer you get to the date of arrival, the more likely it will happen as people tend to cancel their trips at the last minute. I hope that person that cancelled was able to set up another trip.

Yippee!!!!!!!

Congrats! You give me hope on the waitlist. I am scared of it but things like this make me more likely to get on one. :lmao:

Congratulations, I think a bottle of champagne should be added to your grocery list for the villa. :cool1:
