I work at the Disney Store and it's that time of year we have alot of guests come in to buy park tickets.
Most buy anywhere from 2 days to 3 months in advance. A few will be buying tickets as they are leaving town but planned and booked their trip months in advance.
While working yesterday I had a dad with his 2 boys come in to buy park passes. Making small talk I asked when his trip was....
He said he decided on the spur of the moment the night before to go to WDW today and they had stopped off to buy the passes on the way out of town. I said have you got someplace to stay...he had booked a room online as soon as he had decided to go. He said he likes to do things on the spur of the moment. I guess so! Thankfully he said he'd been to WDW 27 times...so at least he's not going clueless!!
So how last minute have you done a trip to WDW??
