:cheer2:Hi everyone new at this but here goes.
We loved Tom Sawyer Island with it's trails and fort.
Yea we got to do that one.

what is PUSH?

suggestions at MK...
early morning or latest time you are there the railroad station at the front of MK, (it's elevated above mainstreet)beautiful place to be when they first put the mainstreet lights on.

also there is a bench over by Crystal Palace that you can get a nice photo of your family on the bench with the castle in the background.

you can walk from the MK to the Contemporary Resort and catch the monorail there. Sometimes it's nice to just walk.

Cinderella wishing well behind the castle (to the left). I know your boys probably won't be into it, but maybe a nice photo op for you ladies.

sometimes in Liberty square there is a marching band that performs. My family enjoyed that. And there are rocking chairs on a porch near the Hall of Presidents that are a shaded relaxing place to take a brief breather. We only stopped there once. So, am not sure if the rockers are alway empty, or even out for that matter.

Also, we have had great fun shopping in the hat store. I think it is to the left , maybe the first shop on the right on as you begin to stroll down mainstreet. We brought our youngest in to get her first mickey ears, but she fell in love with a Peter Pan hat. We got it monogrammed and she still LOVES it. We all had a lot of fun trying on different hats. Of course than CAN get rather expensive.

I'm not sure how Fantasy land is going to be for all the hidden places for smelling roses. You'll have to tell all of us when you return!

Oh, don't forget Monster Inc. Laugh Floor, and make sure you text them a joke. You never know if they'll pick yours!

Oh yea I will need to get
my fix at Aloha Isle Dole Whip.
Such refreshing drinks there.
Also near Liberty Square is
a place where you can get
the biggest ice cream
sandwiches I ever saw. They are
sooo good. Just need one and can
share with every one. Very rich too.

I think you did a great job!!! :thumbsup2 You even added a Smilie in there!!

what is PUSH?

suggestions at MK...

PUSH is a trashcan that a CM controls and it "talks" to the crowds. Nannia saw it on their trip but we didn't get to see him on ours. I think he's hard to find kind of like Devine in AK.

Thank you for the suggestions!! I will definitely have to look for that bench by Crystal Palace. I'll be sure to take LOTS of pics of the new Fantasyland parts!! I can't wait to see it!! Yes we will definitely have to do Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor. My DS9 was chosen last time as the kid to answer the jokes and LOVED every minute of it! This time we will have to text in a joke like you suggested for them to use!

ROFL....vacation is all about eating!!! Yummy! I have asked on the restaurants page about your HUGE ice cream sandwich thing. I hope someone posts a picture so I can see it!

So we have finalized our park days and here's what they look like:

June 7 - leave home and drive as far as we can....boring.....actually hoping for airfare discount....;)
June 8 - Arrive!!!! Go to Magic Kingdom evening EMH.
June 9 - Epcot Day while we are still fresh since it kills our knees! :confused3
June 10 - MK (evening EMH) - I'm trying to take advantage of touring after dark in case it's unbearably hot like last year.
June 11 - Hollywood Studios (another evening EMH)
June 12 - Rest Day
June 13 - Animal Kingdom (morning EMH)
June 14 - Hollywood Studios
June 15 - MK and then leave to come home.... :sad2::guilty:

Here's hoping for a great airfare rate!!! pixiedust:

What do ya'll think???

I was looking at making the boys an autograph book for their favorite characters to sign. Is there a place that I could find good photos of the characters to use in the book?

Our first real park on the schedule is Epcot because both my m-i-l and myself swear that it kills the knees!!! We also figure we will get it over with while we are the freshest so that it doesn't hurt quite as bad.

Some things we really want to do in Epcot....

Rides
Living with the Land
Soarin' (My family has never been on this. Nannia and Poppa have.)
Spaceship Earth
Nemo is a maybe....
Mission Space for my DH and his dad
Maelstrom (Norway)
Three Caballeros (Mexico)

I'm really sad that Test Track will be closed because I was not able to ride it the last time since DS9 chickened out and I had to exit with him.

Shows
Jammitors
Jeweled Dragon Acrobats
Matsuriza
Serveur Amusant
Voices of Liberty
Ziti Sisters
American Adventures show

extras
Pick a pearl in Japan
Caramel shop

It's odd to me that the shows do not all play every day. I was sad to see that some of the ones I was interested in were only Sun-Thurs shows. This however does give me a reason to go back!! (Actually, what doesn't give me a reason to go back?? lol....) A few of the ones that I wanted to see were Miyuki and Sergio the Italian Clown Juggler.

We really want to stop and take our time this time around and enjoy the countries and shows more. The boys of course want to do KimPossible at least once and I think I may actually agree to splitting up to do the missions so each boy has their own Kimmunicator.

Any other special little things that we shouldn't miss?

So our countdown has begun........

:banana::yay::woohoo:

I love your countdown!!! How creative! Would you mind if I "borrow" that idea?

As far as what other little things in Epcot. There was (I think it is still there) a water bubbler at the bridge that connects world showcase & future world that changes color. If your boys are a bit thirsty it is a cool little wow. Seems you have a lot already going on.
Also if you are there at night there are lights in the pavement by the fountain. I am assuming you know about the dancing fountain. They are very cool and I'm sure they will entertain your boys if you are there at night. All my kids have enjoyed them over the years.
You may want to ask each of the "countries" cast members if they have garden areas. I know the UK has a very pretty private area, and (although I haven't seen it myself yet) Canada & France I believe have very pretty areas behind the main area.

sorry if you mentioned that you have either already done these things I mention, or if you already wrote you are planning on seeing them. I don't recall reading either situation, but .... I apologize if you did.

We are doing the Double Digit Dance at our house today!!!!!

99!!!!!!

Yes only 99 days left!!!! I am so excited!!!

Of course you may borrow the countdown!!! After all, I "stole" it from here on the DIS!!! There are some really creative ones in my other thread about countdowns. (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2883940) They have REALLY REALLY creative people out there!!!

Yep we saw the cool lights the last time and sat and watched the fountain for a while. It was WAY to cold to touch/play with it but it was neat to watch.

I also forgot about Club Cool which we did not do the last time so that is a MUST for this trip!

Please don't apologize as those are all great ideas!!!! :cloud9:

I just want to leave tomorrow!!!

Is club cool the beverage tasting one? If so....be careful hahaha My kids talked my mom into tasting one, I wish I had a camera for her face. She did NOT like the taste. It is a lot of fun.

Dh mentioned to me (since I tend to discuss the disboards friends I have.oh, that sounded a little pathetic didn't it. haha I do have friends I actually leave the house with too. :) ), he told me to mention to you about the fishing excursions they have at POR. He thought maybe your DH might find those fun to do with the boys. I have no idea how much they cost, as we have never done one. DH has always wanted to but, when the triplets were little there was only 1 of them that had their Dads love of fishing. And we always ended up opting for staying together as a family. The triplets used to prefer to stay close to each other.

Thanks for the count down link. I think I will go check that out now. Have a great night!

Yep it is the beverage tasting one!!! Oh yes I know the beverage to watch out for and I'll have my camera handy in hopes of capturing a great pic of someone else in my group!!!! :lmao:

I hope you have a great evening as well!!!

Don't know if I want to try that!
Let's let W. try it. :rotfl
Can not believe only 3 months left.
Got to go see about a new bathing suit top.
Yeks!

You didn't ruin it at all!!! I love Nannia too much to make her drink it!!! I'm thinking of my DH!! :rotfl2::thumbsup2:lmao:

Nannia, it's a drink called Beverly that is "supposedly" Coke in Italy but it's really nasty! We will have to get a picture!!! :lmao:

We are at 86!!! I'm so ready to be there!! Work is super stressful right now with state testing and all starting next week so I haven't been on the DIS as much as I would have liked!! I really need to get back over here.

ah, I forgot for a moment you are a teacher. My DD is in 3rd grade. She gets stressed about weekly spelling tests, so state testing is putting her on overload. So, I keep telling her it is to see how well the teachers are teaching. :confused3 sorry. She is always willing to study extra hard to make her teachers look good.
Good luck with the testing. After it is over you will have to "play" on the disboards as a destresser. :thumbsup2

LOL....that's a fine thing to tell her!! I wish I could do the same with my son or my 4th graders but in our state there is so much pressure put on 4th graders to "pass the test" that it is VERY advertised. The students know that it's for them and they know that if they don't pass it they will fail for the year. It just adds so much stress to the poor babies!!

Yep I really need to work on my Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom lists. I just want to run away there today!!!! :lovestruc
