Well, I guess I'm drinking the kool-aid and taking the plunge. I have a contract in my hand that I'm sending in tomorrow morning to buy a 30 point contract at Old Key West. Anyone think I'll have a problem getting past Disney's first right of refusal at $76 a point with me paying the closing costs? Did I purchase for way too high per point given it's a small contract?
My goal with 30 points is to visit in a studio for 3 to 4 nights every 2 years, btw. I live out west and don't get to WDW more often than that anyways.
Also, given that I'm MUCH more close to Disneyland than WDW, I was curious about Disneyland AP discounts for DVC members. I know it's like a $100 discount at WDW, but I read it's only $20 at Disneyland? Is that true? If so, why the big difference in discount given that there's not really that much price difference between a Disneyland Premium AP and a WDW AP at this point?
Thanks!
