Taking the Bus to the Mall?

Just wondering if anyone has taken the bus to the mall? I was thinking my daughter and I could take the bus to do some shopping, instead of renting a car.. How hard it is? and what mall or outlets would be good to go to, that are on the bus route?

If you are thinking of doing that using the Lynx system, there are no direct buses. You would have to make a transfer. I know that most of the Orlando natives recommend against doing that. They say it can be convoluted and you could end up in an area that isn't very 'magical'!

we have stopped at wdw and on international drive and have used differerent buses it can be done,you can catch buses(lynx)to different places at the
transportation centre but we found this way took a long time to get there .If you go to downtown disney and catch a cab to premium outlets it only cost about $5 the last time we were there its not that far away and after you have shopped therefor a few hours ,you could catch the I-ride bus i think you can get a day ticket get off at point orlando .festival mall,belz etc if you want to go to florida mall or mallenia I would get taxis especially coming back. If anyone alse knows any better buses i would like to know myself.
