Hi everyone!

We are staying at FW for the first time next month and we have never been before. On our first day we want to to check in and leave our travel trailer parked there and head straight to the MK. How do we go about taking the boat to the MK? Is the boat dock near where you check in?

Thanks so much!!! :goodvibes

No, the Boatdock is at the other end of the campground. You will have to take an internal bus to get to the boat. Have a great trip.

You will need to leave your car in the lot with the trailer and take a bus from the Outpost through FW to the other end, where the dock is located (any color - yellow, orange, purple, will get you there). They run fairly frequently. From there you can take the boat across. This will allow you to leave the TT hitched and save time when you are ready to drive to your site and setup.
You do have another option. Once you check-in you can unhitch and leave the trailer, use that pass and drive to the MK (park free). From the Ticket and Transportation Center you can take either the big ferry across or the monorail to the MK.
Remember when you return, you'll need to reverse either trip.
You will love the Fort!

Thank you!!!

We cannot wait to stay at the Fort for the first time. I think my 2 boys are going to love it. :goodvibes

I have one more quick question - we will have 2 vehicles with us - the truck towing the travel trailer and a minivan. Could we drive the van to the Boatdock? Is there parking at the dock?

Thanks agaiin! :goodvibes

No, you will not be able to drive to the boat dock. Other than golf carts and the internal bus system, there is no internal vehicle transportation.

Trust me, once you get there and settled, you will immediately feel the magic. Once parked (in the parking lot or site), just jump on the bus and your off to a "magical day".

Enjoy!
