We booked a last minute cruise on DCL. Great rate first week of summer.

We are addicted to our squatty potty. We take it everywhere. Has anyone taken one in a cruise? We know it will fit as we have cruises before. We just hope the stateroom attendant won't remove it!

A squatty potty is a raised step that puts you into a squatting position to do your business. It is a more natural position to be in when needed to do that.

Well this is a first, have never seen this question before, lol. Its always nice to see a new topic discussed and this one is interesting in a strange sort of way. :o

I didn't know they were that compact for packing. To answer your question, no one will remove it however you may want to store it in the closet or under your bed. The bathrooms are not all that big.

I've heard the commercials, but always thought they were joke commercials. They are real?

I had to Google this. Seems they even have a portable unit for when you're "on the go." I thought the only time you used one was when you're on the go. http://www.squattypotty.com/?gclid=CMjjqMnmyswCFYiVfgodKaIOrw

Can't imagine hugging one.

Oh my. Well you learn something new every day.

I wouldn't be hugging one either.

But hey, if it works then bring it and maybe just put it under your bed or in the closet when not in use; as someone else mentioned, those bathrooms are pretty tight.

I was joking with my husband just yesterday about bringing ours, LOL!

I do t think we will, since ours is not collapsible, but it really has been helpful!!

It slides right under the toilet at home so we think it would be fine in the cabin. There is an inflatable one too!

We have one but have never taken it anywhere. I didn't know they had collapsible ones or inflatable ones! Lol!

I can't believe I am going to ask this on here, but from reading this thread it sounds as if the stool actually works? No TMI, but the you tube vids are so over the top funny, I have a hard time picturing myself going into target and walking out with one, oh and taking it seriously after those videos.

I am with others though, I don't see any reason why they would remove it, but would have concerns that it would fit with how close the tub is to the toilet, it may be a tight fit or a no go because of the tub.

Yes, the commercial are disgustingly hilarious. I thought it was a spoof/april fools joke at first myself. But yes, it REALLY does help, especially if you are "used to" spending 45 minutes every morning on your throne, LOL.
We ordered it on Amazon, cheaper and no embarrassing chit chat at the register ;)

We have 2 and love them. It's also helpful for our kids...ages 6 & 8. Their feet don't dangle :)
