Can anyoneone let me know what the situation is with taking food into the parks, i'm not looking at taking loads, maybe a couple of bottles of water and some pringles or something simular is this ok or will i be made to leave it at security? It's just that being pregnant i'm finding i need to snack regularly or my blood sugars seem to drop

Congratulations on the pregnancy.

They seem to be ok with people taking small snacks and drinks into the park. They only seem to be bothered if you are trying to take a whole picnic into the park with you. Plenty of people seem to make rolls at breakfast and take them in with them

They won't bat an eye at security over food and soft drinks in your bags, don't worry. I often have drinks cartons, couple of bags of cookies, crisps, and sweets in there, and have never had a word said to me about it.

Cheers, thats great, just didn't want to waste food, it's not like we are taking stuff to avoid buying food in the parks we will be doing plenty of that too! It's just for top ups in an emergancy

Hi
I took a massive big bag full of food in the parks with me everyday we were there and nobody said anything.

We always take snacks with us, never been a problem:)

Congrats on your pregnancy:love:

Never had a problem, we strolled in last week with DD eating a massive bag of crisps and they didnt bat a eyelid.

We always have a backpack with 2 litres of water and snacks for each day.
Sometimes we had bagets, cheeses and hams for a picnic lunch and nobody minded :)

we often make up some rolls at breakki and bring them in with us and nothin is said, i was always nervous and unsure so i use to bury the stuff but one of the days it was on top of everything and it was fine :)

thats good to know *** i will need a lot of snacks for my dd
