Taking Out The Trash And Coffee Makers

I know this has probably been asked a million times, but I can't seem to remember an answer. If I'm halfway thru our cycle between checkin and T&T day and our trash cans are full, is there anywhere I can take them to empty them? Should I take some empty trash bags?

One more question - what kind of coffee makers are in the VWL Studios? I was going to get some Starbucks pre-filled filters, but want to make sure they will fit the coffee maker.

Each floor on the VWL (and I suppose all DVC resorts) has a room marked Trash & Recycling. You can take your trash there if you need to empty it before your T&T day.

Coffee makers in the studios?...I assume the same kind of coffee makers that are in the 1BR. That would be a "Mr. Coffee" style of drip coffee maker. We bring the round coffee ground packets so there's no muss, no fuss when it comes time to making the coffee!

Each location has a trash room. Just close up the bags and take them there for drop off. I believe the room also has recycling bins. I've only used the ones at Boardwalk so when I say room I'm talking about there. I think at OKW the bins might be outside since the layout is different.

If I remember correctly once you take the trash bag out there are additional ones in the bottom of your trash bin.

Sorry can't help with the coffee question - we don't drink it.

Who cares were the trash goes.... I'm excited to find out that Starbucks has prefilled coffee filters. Those Maxwell House ones just don't cut it for me!

I've stayed in a studio at OKW and BCV and they both had the Mr. Coffee type coffee makers, just like the larger units.

(Oh, and ditto what everyone said about the trash rooms.)
