When dd was an infant we took the similac singles. If I remember right they were for 4 ounce servings. They worked great! Very easy to pack with us, and they took up little space. We didn't carry our own water. When we needed water we would go to a "fast food" counter and ask for a cup of hot water and a cup of ice. The ice was to cool down the water because it was always really hot. We never had a problem getting it and there was never a charge for it.
