Man, if I wasn't moving this weekend I BE ON LINE TO SEE THIS ONE!

I LOVED the book, and the first movie was good but I cannot IMAGINE how good it will be with Denzel and Travolta!!

I read the book ON the NY subway and it was an incredible lesson on how the MTA worked, at least back in the 70s! I can't wait to see the new tech version!

Has anyone seen it or plan to?

Most remakes are never as good as the original. But, with these two actors, I think this version will be just as exciting.


John Travolta had realesed a statement on his website thanking the cast & director for taking up the slack in promoting the film so he could continue to grieve with his family. I hope his not promoting the film does not hurt the initial box office. I'd hate for him to feel guilty over that, with everything else he's going though.

Why the need to remake a movie? Think of something new to make. I will not waste my money on this movie.

It is his movie of choice and we've been banned from seeing it before he does!

My ex taught Denzel track safety for the movie back when they were getting ready to film it. He said he was a nice guy. He sent me a picture of the 2 of them but unfortunately I deleted it.

I think this is what DH and I are seeing this weekend (baby goes for his first overnight trip to the grandparents!)... eager for some actual reviews of it so those that have seen it c'mon!!
