Taking my Parents to WDW

I am taking my Parents to WDW next year. It was a rough year or two around here, healthwise & my Parents have been awesome. I have taken them with us 3 times before & they have gone on their own once. We will most likely stay at the Dolphin as it's my favorite & we would be close to Epcot, all of our favorite Park.

My question is this - would you take them for Flower & Garden Fest or for Food & Wine Fest? Both events are equally appealing to them, F&W has a definate edge for me. Or another time? My parents are very active 70 soemthings who are relaxed & easy going & love doing WDW. It would be just myself & them. No kids. Short 3-4 day trip.

Me? I'm a cheapskate. I would shoot for whichever is first and if you can't get a good deal on hotel and/or air well then wait for the other and snap up the deals as you find them.

Both are good choices, what are they more interested in food or flowers There would be more interaction with the food and wine festival than the flowers, (IMO) so do what interests your parents. Do what fits better into your schedule or budget, both are fun and would be enjoyed. Good luck with your decision.

I was just reading about Party for the Senses, which would be really fun to take them to!

Argh! Maybe I'll take them to both! LOL (after I win the lottery that is!)

I'm taking my parents this year!! It also was a really rough year for my mom health wise... my dad is not a Disney person - they went with my brother and his 2 girls, and they are not Disney enthusiasts - my mom just doesnt understand why were going for 7 days "there is only 4 parks" My dad loves to golf, and we bought him a Richard Petty Rookie Experience - last time they hung out at the pool bars.... so.....

we're going for F&W fest!!!!!!

Food and Booze vs flowers...not even close in my opinion. But it all depends on you and your parents...if it were my family we would be going for food and wine festival!
