taking medication more than once a day

If you take a medication more than once per day, for instance twice per day, at what times of the day do you take it?
I have to take one pill twice a day. I've been taking it at 9am (after I've eaten breakfast at work) and again when I get home (after 5:30, around dinner time). I think I want to shift the later one to about an hour earlier - I think it's gets me up in the middle of the night from taking it "so late".

I try to take them 12 hours apart, so the medication stays at a more even level in my body. If I take the morning one at 8:00 a.m., then I try to take the evening one at 8:00 p.m.

I always take my meds after I eat-i dont think a precise time is that important.....just that my tummy has food in it.

When i take on empty stomach it makes me feel weird

So like 7am and 6pm

I have to take with food also, so I do take it a little later in the morning than I probably should. The problem is that it is a diuretic as well, so if I take it too late I have to get up in the middle of the night.

I do the same. I also eat something to coat the stomach, even if it is only a boiled egg or half a sandwich.

Although, some DISers need to take their meds more often or sooner. You can kind of tell when a poster starts to go off...

I take one pill with breakfast and another with lunch. I have to take mine with food or I get nauseous, and my doctor advised that they should be taken earlier in the day rather than later because they do have a tendency to keep people up if taken too late. That works well for me.
