Taking M.E. A few days after arrival

We will be coming to WDW in July and want to use M.E., but not until 2 days AFTER we arrive! Can that be done? We want to rent a car from the airport for a few days to visit some friends, and then return the car to the airport and hop on the bus for our week in Disney. We checked on returning the car to the Dolphin, but it costs so much more than if you just return it at the airport. Thanks for any help with this.

You can. Just tell ME that you're coming in on a flight arriving on the date and time that you want to take the bus to WDW. Of course, do not use the yellow luggage tags and you'll have to take your luggage on the bus with you. Otherwise, no problem.

Yes that is fine - you can use DME r/t as long as you are a current hotel guest and have an advance reservation.

Just call dme directly and let them know when you would like to depart. Sometimes its easier to look up a flight that departs about 3 hours after you want to leave for the airpot and use that for 'DME.
