We are staying at AKL in October, and last year my husband was very ill the whole time we were there, but we found last time he could not eat anything that was around, so we thought does anyone no if we can take cup a soups or biscuits with us, we have been told you cannot take anything with you and if you did you would have to declare it, any help please would be grateful.

Where are you coming from? Is declaring coming into yet country or flying an issue?

There are services that will deliver groceries from local supermarkets.

I hope things will be better this year!

So sorry to hear that...To work around the food issue, I highly recommend WeGoShop....As Bobbi said, they are a grocery service where you order the food on line and they deliver it to your room. We've used them several times and been very satisfied.

My friends pack frozen meats, sauces, pastas, garlic bread and loads of snacks in their checked luggage when they go to Aruba, so you shouldn't have a problem using checked baggage. Carry on has more limitations but dry soups, and biscuits should be fine.

If you are flying out of another country, that may be different.

We have ordererd groceries from www.gardengrocer.com and have been very happy with them. They delivered the food exactly when we wanted, and brought it up to our villa.

Good luck..

We're from Canada, and my boss is from England and we've had no problem taking canned/packaged food items across the border (just no fruits and vegetables). If you're talking about going into the park though you are allowed to bring in food and you don't have to declare it. DH and I do usually use garden grocer, to save bag space and luggage weight.
