Taking food from one CS restaurant to another?

Is it possible / frowned upon to take food from one CS restaurant to another if you family wants two different things? Ex: If my family wants to eat at Pecos Bills but I want the taco salad from El Pirate, could I take said salad to Pecos Bills? WIll they give you a take away container or bag or is it just the tray? I don't want to be rude, but I eat Low Carb and sometimes there is a better choice somewhere other than where the kids want to eat.

This is not a problem at all.

Takeaway containers are available by inquiring with a Host or Hostess at the counter.

done it at the MK, but this is one of the benefits of the World Showcase in Epcot. Everyone in the family can have food from a different country and we still eat together - within reason of course. Taking food from Morocco to Mexico could mean cold food. It's not unusual for us to have food from three different CS locations.

I know it may feel naughty, but they're all Disney restaurants..it's not like you're taking Taco Bell into McDonalds.

We do it often at Epcot as well. My son and I would get lunch from Yakitori house and would meet my husband and daughter where they are ordering as long as there is seating. We usually meet where my daughter wants to eat.

When you order, just let them know that you want it "to go". Sometimes they can accomodate you, while some places do not have take out containers.

My family does it all the time in EPCOT since there is so many good CS to pick from. Then we just pick a CS to all meet back at with our food in hand.

I was actually hoping to do this at the AK. My husband and son really want to go to Pizzafari and right now anything saucy is just not sitting well with my pregnant stomach.. So, I'm hoping to stop over at Flame Tree BBQ for their fruit plate and eat with my guys at Pizzafari.

We have done it. I cant see it being an issue they are all owned by Disney. Michelle
